Mother. Tens machine. Bought.
Father. Aviator hat (he's a farmer so gets cold). Bought.
Sister. Chrome pen. Bought.
Brother. Nothing. (He lives in Canada and won't be home this Xmas so we sort of have a mutual agreement where we don't bother unless we're going to be together). Not bought.
Friend's children. Sweets and girly stuff for her teen. Bought.
DD. Nike hoodie and bottoms, sapphire earrings. Bought. Trainers, still to be bought. Fragrance, will let her pick out on 26th.
I don't have a partner or PILs to buy for. No grandparents either.

Yes how did you know Crispy? I thought I was special I thought we had a bond. If he’s doing it for others I might not give him the 15th century salt cupboard and just give him a car lease only for a KA nothing too extravagant

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 19:51

Surely the appropriate gift for the Hermes man would be a scarf?

Christinayangstwistedsista · 26/11/2017 19:53

Salt cupboards are so last year, I was thinking of installing a Munsnet room

Remember this is Crumbsville RJ. A scarf for a delivery driver is just COMMON!! This man helps with the children as well as being a delivery driver. He's almost staff. Imagine if he told the other villagers he'd been gifted a scarf by Crumbs, she'd never be able to show her face again at the Christmastide service.

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 19:58

Hermes supply delivery drivers?

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 20:05

This one would make a nice stocking gift

What have you bought or what are you buying for everyone?
paxillin · 26/11/2017 20:09

You could make the stocking from it, @RJnomore1! Then you can fill it with gold.

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 20:16

Wonderful idea pax.

Perhaps a job lot could be ordered to line the orphans mittens too.

CharlieSierra · 26/11/2017 20:18

RJ who knew? I thought they did bags and scarves. All this time I could have had myself my own delivery driver!

Coconutspongexo · 26/11/2017 20:34

What wing will the mumsnet room be in Christina?

I like the idea of a Hermes stocking filled with gold, I can see his face light up now.

I'm having an 12 extensions built onto my Grade 1 listed Tudor-Georgian-Victorian Mansion, so all the dc can have a Winter and Summer sitting room each.

WomblingThree · 27/11/2017 06:07

12 Courtney? Have you miscounted again or are you building one for the delivery driver too?

Trueheart1 · 28/11/2017 17:33
