Mother. Tens machine. Bought.
Father. Aviator hat (he's a farmer so gets cold). Bought.
Sister. Chrome pen. Bought.
Brother. Nothing. (He lives in Canada and won't be home this Xmas so we sort of have a mutual agreement where we don't bother unless we're going to be together). Not bought.
Friend's children. Sweets and girly stuff for her teen. Bought.
DD. Nike hoodie and bottoms, sapphire earrings. Bought. Trainers, still to be bought. Fragrance, will let her pick out on 26th.
I don't have a partner or PILs to buy for. No grandparents either.

Where, where are my bloody paragraphs?!

CrispyDuckPlease · 25/11/2017 22:15

Crumbs - it may be an idea for you to keep a notebook with details of your family/house/village/aga in for you to refer back to before submitting future posts. Might stop those inconsistencies

She's too busy adorning the sheep in Christmas lights for the Christmastide nativity. Alternatively, she could get the housekeeper (the one who looks after the imaginary children) to make a spreadsheet up for her. Unless of course the imaginaryhousekeeper is too busy shagging the imaginary gardener that Crumbs has employed to look after her imaginary mothers garden as a Christmastide gift. What I want to know is with Crumbs throwing all the money in her imagination around why is she knitting mittens in the winter sitting room for the poor children? Someone with the money in her imagination she claims to have would surely have the wool from the sheep (which are adorned with Christmastide lights) woven by a professional and made into proper mittens? Those poor children could have unicorn sheep mittens after all.

Have not bought a thing yet, am proud of that-it’s still November for goodness sake!!

I get off lightly for present buying this year as everyone has gone and died. 😭 GPS and DF. We have a huge extended family but I only send vouchers to my Dnephews and some cash to DHs nieces. Then we buy stuff for each other.

RJnomore1 · 26/11/2017 08:31

I don't think some people are being entirely truthful here.

Who buys ovex as a present??

C8H10N4O2 · 26/11/2017 09:02

Courtney DD4: Quality Street

Would that be Mayfair or Park Lane?

ShimmeringBollox · 26/11/2017 09:04
Grin Will she get a couple of houses for her birthday ?
Christinayangstwistedsista · 26/11/2017 09:17

Ohhh I do love the idea of a gardener for Christmas, how would one wrap him? I shall ask Rick the postie

I know a local chap called Roger who does a bit of gardening, think I shall buy him for myself, I do love a nice Roger

clairethewitch70 · 26/11/2017 12:02

Crumbs1 Can I be your friend I would love either a Motorhome or an Housekeeper for Christmas? Your choice, I'm not fussy, surprise me Grin

frieda909 · 26/11/2017 13:26

CourtneyLove where did you find the Phoenix feather earmuffs? I’ve been thinking about buying some but I’m worried they’re a bit common now as everyone seems to be wearing them these days. Maybe I should get some Griffin feather ones instead?

I used to have a villa in Atlantis but I sold it last year. The place had really gone downhill since it became the latest ‘trendy’ holiday destination. I much preferred it when it was a hidden gem that only those in-the-know really knew about. I’m sure it will make a good first holiday home for your DD for a few years though.

AnyFucker · 26/11/2017 15:10

This thread has made my day

Coconutspongexo · 26/11/2017 15:12

Bad news everyone
I’ve just bought my siblings the following:

www.privateislandsonline.com/search?availability=sale&region=st-vincent-and-the-grenadines&q2=&price_range=0%3A50000000&size_range=0%3A1000

One each. I think I will need to buy them something to go with it though, doesn’t look much. Any ideas?

C8H10N4O2 · 26/11/2017 15:18

Dippin

Good choice, particularly loving this: "Staff reside on a smaller island and are available within minutes"

One does of course like to maintain the appropriate distance. How do you you get the hamper of fudge to them at Christmas?

Coconutspongexo · 26/11/2017 15:22

I haven’t thought about that yet, although I’m sure my minions can think of something, I might invest in a small fleet of light aircrafts and a few boats?

Only a small fleet though, I don’t want to go too OTT.

paxillin · 26/11/2017 15:32

DC1- Tablet, Topman stuff
DC2- Game station, Lego

"DC3"- Moon on a stick
"DC4"- Unicorn herd
"DC5"- Rainbows that follow her around
"DC6"- 50 pence

I'm never quite sure about DC6, I forget how many there are sometimes.
