Welcome one and all, see post two for links.

This Christmas we will mostly be watching the children spinning in bilibos with their head torches on and we will be drinking pact coffee in our Emma Bridgewater polka dot mugs

@tellmeitsnottrue i think the t&c is usually it doesn't apply to certain brands.

I am a lover of moroccan oil and that never ever discounts when they have so much off offers.

LikeSilver · 12/10/2017 07:59

@cookiefiend Not a Christmas bargain, sorry (please don't expel me!) but when my DD was 4 and in the 'but how is it made?' phase (still ongoing, she's nearly 6) she absolutely LOVED the CBeebies show 'Do You Know?' I thought it might give you ten minutes break from the questioning to bargain shop Grin

Reastie · 12/10/2017 07:59

^compketely agree with badders and the usbourne left the flap recommendation. We have a few including inside your body/space and dd (6) really likes looking at them still.

whyamibored I kept the cornerstone subscription going for my DH. He loves them.
Getting it as a gift for someone else this year too.

APaperMe · 12/10/2017 08:17

Normally not keen on scented candles, but like neom.

Thanks for bodyshop codes all those who posted about them. I was going to order a couple of mens bits for OH anyway so I effectively paid an extra £8 for 4 shower gels, a vit E facewash and a hemp handcream for me.
Good buy at the moment is probably the hemp gift set, cream alone is £12 but tin is £15 and includes cream, body butter and lip balm. I didn't get because I don't have anyone to gift it to and ive got a stash of body butter already but it's good stuff for dry skin.

gingerbreadmam · 12/10/2017 08:20

the postwr after the tsum tsum advent calendar - asda have a different version for £35 if that helps.

DumbledoresArmy · 12/10/2017 08:48

I’ve just signed DH up to Cornerstone. They’re offering £10 off for first subscription. So £4 personalised razor head, 6 blades delivered free.

DumbledoresArmy · 12/10/2017 08:54

Here’s my referral for FFS ( Friction Free Shaving) the ladies equivalent to Cornerstone.
They have a rose gold razor!

Does anyone know if Argos usually do another 3 for 2 before xmas? I know doing it previously isn't a guarantee that they'll do it again but I totally forgot about it last time it was on and have bikes to buy so was hoping to get a bargain!

whyhastherumgone · 12/10/2017 09:00

Neom candles and clinique gift sets in my local TK Maxx at the moment - seen them in another branch recently too and they were less than half of the RRP

Tattybogle89 · 12/10/2017 09:00

LOL big surprise is in stock at Tesco Direct! Go go go.

I had a big surprise at checkout, I had £44.50 of club card vouchers I didn't know I had so the overpriced nonsense cost me fifteen fine English pounds!! My biggest bargain so far. Makes up somewhat for EB skanking me!

SnowBodyforrrrm · 12/10/2017 09:09

And to the person asking about the 13 storey treehouse set from the BP, I emailed them but unfortunately they do not know whether they'll be restocking the series 😢

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 12/10/2017 09:10

I totally agree on Do You Know on CBeebies, it's fantastic!

Tacobella · 12/10/2017 09:18

Boots have this men's Clinique trial kit for £5. I ordered to store so no p&p.
Nice stocking filling for teenage ds.

cookiefiend · 12/10/2017 09:28

Thanks all for the recommendations. She lives Do You Know on CBeebies, I am hoping to move her away from the to a bit though as I am a bit worried she has seen too much recently. Will look at more usborne lift the flaps books. Thanks.

Questionsquestionsquestions · 12/10/2017 09:32

Is the Friction Free Shaving razor good? Just contemplating it but do't want to be suckered in by a (beautiful!) rose gold razor if it's not actually that good a shave! Grin

buckeejit · 12/10/2017 09:40

Someone was looking for flamingo stocking fillers recently-theres a jug on sale at m&s but sold out online. Also a flamingo towel in a summer Asda magazine so might still have instore

BluthsFrozenBananas · 12/10/2017 09:46

The Book People have got a flash sale on until midnight. Lots of sets of children's books, I stopped midway through filling up my basket to come and post this!

DumbledoresArmy · 12/10/2017 09:48

I’m not sure yet about the Friction Free Shaving yet! Only just ordered it.
I gathered for the price it’s worth a try.

redtulip12 · 12/10/2017 10:04

Last year I used a referral code on a £12 hush candle to get it for £2. Was a great secret Santa present. Can’t remember if I was able to use a free delivery code with it. Might be worth a try? Free delivery is OCTLB17 and my referral which gives you £10 off off if a first time buyer is
hush.mention-me.com/m/ol/dk6jb-k-hampton

Wondering whether I can set up another email address to use myself or if the cotton on when delivery address is the same? Anyone know?

Rainybo · 12/10/2017 10:08

I’m thinking of getting DD an Amazon Dot or Echo, but I’m a bit clueless.

Which is best to get? Do they both have speakers? And can both be connected via Bluetooth from her iPhone to play music? Will it work with an Apple Music subscription? Do I need to join prime if I get one?

Sorry for all the questions, just don’t want to splash out and then it’s rubbish!

Also should I wait until Black Friday to buy?
