Does anyone have any mothercare voucher codes? Or know if/when they're due to have a good sale?

Only after a few bits anyway but the cheaper the better Grin, they have a fairy wand for £2 and also after the happyland fairy figures (£10) and the happyland Christmas set (£14) for Christmas Eve box Halo

buckeejit · 22/09/2017 20:41

I've still got a couple of Molton brown discount offers from 2015 left in the gift drawer! Blush

Realised on getting all the stuff put that I've already got 3 pairs of pjs & 4 hats for ds & onesies for both dc from the john Lewis clearance in summer!

5 weeks off sick now & am going to organise an ongoing spreadsheet of gifts up for grabs for throughout the year!

VoldemortsNipple · 22/09/2017 20:43

Ness I ordered it last year and it was a huge hit, have already preordered for this year. The selection was really unusual and do really enjoyed trying new beers. It came with a glass, bottle opener and notebook for writing tasting notes.

PamBeasleyHalpert · 22/09/2017 20:46

Dp not do!

GerrardWinstanley · 22/09/2017 20:55

DH has just declared the beerhawk advent calendar his best Christmas present ever and I've told him there's no chuffing way I'm spending that much on beer again Wink

Snooky17 · 22/09/2017 20:55

@islacornx I've sent you a pm.

VoldemortsNipple · 22/09/2017 21:00

Another 3D pen ordered with a 24 refill pack which includes glow in the dark. DN is 11 and has ASD. He loves art and creating weird and wonderful characters for computer games he invents in his head. This will be right up his street.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 22/09/2017 21:05

Has anyone bought hair chalks that they would recommend? I don't want rubbish ones, I see so many with crap reviews!

Bravas · 22/09/2017 21:12

I've just bought a 3d printing pen too, thank you to who posted it. There are going to be a lot of mnetters fiddling with hot pens on Christmas day Grin.

SockEatingMonster · 22/09/2017 21:13

I can heartily recommend these Lego Minecraft figures from Aliexpress. I ordered X0127 for the DC's advent calendars. Postage is free when you select UK delivery.

You can tell they are not genuine Lego, but I've just finished assembling them all and, bar one tiny 1x1 piece that was a little loose and the ocelot's feet being a different shade of yellow, the quality is excellent. Be prepared to hunt for assembly instructions on the Lego website though, as they don't come with any!

OhHolyFuck · 22/09/2017 21:27

So glad I have this thread of like minded people to retreat into - sick of all the threads like 'loads of presents for children - I don't get it' or 'Christmas eve boxes - I don't get it' or 'happiness and festivity - I just don't get it'....Hmm

@Fooffighter Thank you SO much for the bargain ukulele source! Our DD has, completely out of the blue, fixated on the notion of owning one. DP and I already have her Christmas list done (in our minds) so have said absolutely not. It will be lovely to see her face when Father Christmas defies us and brings one!

Tattybogle89 · 22/09/2017 21:33

ness I got DH a beer hawk advent calendar last year which he really liked. Lots of craft beer from smaller independent breweries. Was thinking of getting it for him again but he's dropped heavy hints he would like a wine one this year.

SheStoodInTheStorm · 22/09/2017 22:17

Still on the look out for a good deal on little live pets!

I also bought chocolate oranges today in Tesco and had a chuckle to myself!

Iwannasnack · 22/09/2017 22:20

What age would people recommend the little live pets from? DD is 4.5 and think she might like them. She's asked for Moana lego so if anyone sees a bargain on that please shout.

applepinkierainbow · 22/09/2017 22:27

SheStood I don't know how good a deal this actually is but Liitle live pets mouse and track half price at Tescoo*
