Thank you for the Qwertee link. Have ordered a few prints as they're still half price at £4 today. They've got some really fab designs. www.qwertee.com/prints

Argos have been underwhelming this time round i think. I did manage to get the 3 different PJ Masks totem pole playsets though, so better than nothing!

whatwillicallmyself · 27/09/2017 14:01

Hi 3D pen ordered yesterday thank you, has anybody any ideas for a toy that opens and closes, ? My 2 .5 year old loves opening and closing gates and drawers etc, he has some playmobile vans with little drawers but they are fiddly to get in and out so he gets frustrated with them, any ideas ?

margaritasbythesea · 27/09/2017 14:12

whatwillicallmyself - Melissa and Doung latch sets sprang to mind.

Also this house

Popsicle789 · 27/09/2017 14:15

Whatwillicallmyself
ELC do a Post Box toy that I think your little one would like

Haudyerwheesht · 27/09/2017 14:17

The Melissa and Doug board is great - my ds loved it BUT you just open and close it - you can't put anything in or out iyswim

faintlinesquints · 27/09/2017 14:18

whatwilli I was going to suggest the Mellissa and Doug latches set too, its brill - they also do a cute farm set with animals that has all the latches on.

Pretty sure bigjigs have a cube with latches on too.

Llamacorn · 27/09/2017 14:19

Melissa and Doug latches barn here looks great.

MooseyMoo · 27/09/2017 14:21

mammyaroundmadness Thanks for the half price Pokemon belt. My kids are completely addicted to Pokemon at the moment Flowers

fluffywhitekittens · 27/09/2017 14:24

Has anyone got a code for flavourly? I'm sure someone had a referral link somewhere but can't find it.
I did ok with the argos 3 for 2. Spent yesterday checking prices and putting things in the basket. Got some lego sets that didn't go up in price and were in stock. A Dc girl went up by £2 overnight but still worth it. I did have to do three separate orders though because they just give the cheapest items free. So I had three £19.99 and then some at say 14, ,9,8 then they take off the £9 and £8 ... Also going to use Nectar points to pay towards some of them.

nocutsnobuttsnococonuts · 27/09/2017 14:36

Got lots of bargains in the last few days do thank you for the half price pokemon belt, 70% off build a bear superheros, toys for a pound website and the helix set!

Debenhams had a super shopkins set description says 26 characters reduced from 25 to 12.50. Pic is of a 5 pack though. Ordered it so will see what arrives!

Wonderbly also have a 15% off code that existing customers can use its on their website. Going to use it to order dd the willy wonka book :)

stressbucket1 · 27/09/2017 14:43

YY, whatwilliwant the Pop It In The Post by ELC was a smash hit for my DCs. Still have it in fact, with all its bits as well!

Also a thing called animal hospital where you use keys to open little doors and there are cute animals behind them.

Boffered1 · 27/09/2017 15:00

Pretty Little Thing have 20% with Code TAKE20 and free delivery with code SFNDP. The 20% off excludes beauty but with free delivery I got a Balmi for £3 and one of DD'S big wants a Wet Brush.

Ooh after having a look for other foodie gifts I've found at least one Cure and Simple code on this thread still works

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/Christmas/2767076-Cure-and-simple-referral-thread

Not sure of the practicalities though - I would quite like to get one packet delivered to a friend/relative for Christmas then maybe a 3 month subscription as a gift but I don't want to either have to remember to cancel in March or to just send them one packet.

Carrie76 · 27/09/2017 15:07

Nocuts micro scooters are the way to go, they are expensive but last forever!

Boffered1 · 27/09/2017 15:09

Hollister have up to 30% off clothing. Some fairly good reductions on Hoodies for those with teens

Freezingwinter · 27/09/2017 15:16

Re sainsburys toy sale
Anyone know when it starts???
There was a woman in there today checking prices against barcodes and she had sale labels ready to go on the shelves!
She disappeared before I could ask her.. I saw someone doing this last year so wondering if sale is soon??

Curious2468 · 27/09/2017 15:23

Several of the Lego sets I wanted are reduced on amazon today (guessing to match Argos). Not quite as good as 3 for 2 but as half of what I wanted from Argos wasn't included in the sale it's worked out the best deal for us. Saved £30 on 2 sets so I'm happy

fluffywhitekittens · 27/09/2017 15:33

Thanks for the pokemon belt link. I also found a half price hairdryer and straightener set for dd on debenhams and I've signed up for cash back site, so will hopefully get a bit back. Typically the dc doll I got from argos was cheaper in their sale than Argos so I could have got it there and a slightly more expensive lego set. WOuld only have saved a few pounds though.

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2017 15:40

@fluffywhitekittens Flavourly code

NoWordForFluffy · 27/09/2017 15:41

No idea what the discount is though!

Divingheadfirst · 27/09/2017 15:56

Done a big shop in smyths ttoday, got £70 off so im pretty pleased. Bought all my main presents - bike, scooter, little tikes car, lego.

Went to argos to collect an order I made yesterday and it had increased in price so I just left it.
