Aldi have sports accessories - got ds a training ladder and a cone hurdle set for £5.99 each. They also had the parachutes you run with for £9.99.

Got dd a storage craft box too - really sturdy with sections etc and plan on filling it with poundshop Pom poms and pipe cleaners and sequins and the like. Box was £5.99

THE DORY MARINE LIFE PLAYSET IS AWFUL

Sorry...I bought one as a gift and it just pours water everywhere! The pieces don't fit together tight enough and it just has water pissong out constantly!

boredofmyoldname · 25/09/2017 11:33

@ihopeyousteponalegopiece - trust me to find a god awful bargain :o

Popsicle789 · 25/09/2017 11:37

Checked the reviews for the finding dory £5 playset and they said it was perfik as a bath toy!

EmGee · 25/09/2017 11:38

The Smyths deal looks to be instore only :(

drspouse · 25/09/2017 11:42

EmGee it is instore only but you can click and collect if that helps, I think?

wornoutboots · 25/09/2017 11:43

hello! sorry I'm late, my pc died! My husband managed to get it limping on again with some very old parts.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for the suggestions for my eldest in the last thread, we have some of the things suggested already but have made a note of others for when we next get paid

thank you

wishingchair1 · 25/09/2017 11:48

Hi all, I'm wondering if you can share some of your wisdom. I am looking to get 2 hatchimals and a pj masks headquarters. I am hoping for 3 for 2 or any options to get them cheaper. Also does anyone already have the headquarters? It is £50 and really doesn't look worth it but my 5yr old dd has her heart set on it.

Iwannasnack · 25/09/2017 11:55

Does anyone know what the sizing on those Hatley dressing gowns is? What age would a large fit?

MrsCrimbo74 · 25/09/2017 11:55

Lego advent calendars only very slightly reduced in price by about £1 but still cheaper than elsewhere and free delivery as well

EmGee · 25/09/2017 12:02

dr alas I live abroad so click and collect doesn't really help! I will hold on and hope there is a discount online soon (or elsewhere!)

Haudyerwheesht · 25/09/2017 12:07

I bought 25 Lego mini figures second hand on eBay for a diy advent for ds - they're great but I need a Lego space helmet and some baseball caps - can you order them anywhere individually? I looked on the Lego store and on eBay but I don't need loads and loads of them.

Annwithnoe · 25/09/2017 12:12

icecreamicecream would a portable cooker do? About £40
overcome by sudden craving for frozen dairy products

Annwithnoe · 25/09/2017 12:13

Does anyone know if the smyths offer applies in Ireland? I can't see anything on the website and I've had no emails. It's a really bad time of the month for a great offer for me Sad I could do with them waiting another couple of days til payday!

Carrie76 · 25/09/2017 12:22

For Irish shoppers, heatons have a good toy sale on. I took a pic of some stuff this morning

Spend £10 on the Thorntons website and get a free box of chocs worth £4 with the code BIRTHDAY

MarriedAroundChristmas · 25/09/2017 12:50

IceCream - that looks great, and is definitely big enough to be a main present, and you can take it away with you for Christmas too!!

Bdayblues · 25/09/2017 12:50

Thank you mummy

Wishingchair - I ended up doing all dd's last shopping at Very - I got a glittering garden hatchimal and other bits that came to £125 - you get 25% off for opening an account (so hatchimal was £51 rather than £65) and can then pay over 3 months too. I don't know anything about pj masks though I'm afraid.

AcerTree · 25/09/2017 13:01

Catan board game down to £21 on Amazon, one of the lowest prices it has been on there. Suitable for ages 10+.

OhHolyFuck · 25/09/2017 13:03

@Iwannasnack I think it's very roughly about Small is 2-3yrs, Medium is 4-5yrs and Large is 6-7 yrs
DS1 has an XL coat which I think is 8-9 years

faintlinesquints · 25/09/2017 13:12
