I haven't used Quidco, I use Topcashback, but I think they're similar- you go through them to make your purchases and earn money back.

Basically you search for things jn quidco and it collects cashback from the retailer for you. Sometimes the rate is 1% sometimes 5 or 7. For insurance or phone contracts you'll often get cashback. It all adds up and then you have a tidy sum to withdraw. I have earned over £1000 over a few years. It's just handy.
