Various giant gummy sweets at Studio including a giant gummy pooh, who doesn't need one of them in their lives?

Cheers for Alice ideas, got a Cheshire cat bag for £3 and a little handbag mirror for £1.50 from Disney for her. Going over to a bigger Disney store now to see if theyvhave anything else. Still appreciate ideas as I'll put away for Christmas.

For any dc superhero girls fans Debenhams has some of the lego sets half price.

Bumblebee helicopter £6 from 12
Batgirl batjet chase £10 from 20
Lashina tank £6 from 12
Harvey quinn to the rescue £12.50 from 25
Batgirl secret bunker £20 from 40
Lena luthor kryptomite factory £27.50 from 55

I can't see these online but my store (Newcastle upon Tyne) had pretty full shelves of them all. There were also other sets that didn't seem to be reduced. The stickers said "today you pay" so not sure if it's a short term price match thing or? But bloody good deals I thought.

I got the small bumblebee helicopter and Batgirl jet sets, one for birthday one for Christmas Smile

MrsCrimbo74 · 07/09/2017 11:07

Clintons are doing Light up photo frames for £4.99 was £10.00

scrivette · 07/09/2017 12:06

I have just been in the Disney Store and they have lots of lunch boxes/pack packs reduced, mostly between £5.50 and £10.

Reastie · 07/09/2017 12:58

MrsC Shock to the giant gummy poo!

My tinc order finally came. Bit disappointed by the smelly pens. Tried a few and they don't really smell very much at all and in my naivity I thought the ink would be the colour of the pen but they're all blue. Bendy rubbers and pencils are great though, thanks to the original poster for the link.

Reastie how much did you pay for the smelly pens? I just got a pack of different coloured glittery smelly pens from Kleeneeze for £5. Great quality, lovely colours, smell delicious (and all different)

margaritasbythesea · 07/09/2017 13:51

Not at all bargainious but we had really great smelly pens from Accessorize. They are still smelling like me 80s childhood six months on!

SingaporeSlinky · 07/09/2017 13:52

Keep an eye out for Matalan emails, I've just had a code for 15% off in store and online purchases, valid for 2 months. Codes are specific to my reward card, but assume all holders will get one. Anyone remember what the best deal was last year? Don't know whether I'd be better off waiting for a better discount.

TheDrsDocMartens · 07/09/2017 13:56

That lego is a good offer. Have to send someone to Debenhams for me

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 07/09/2017 13:59

My girls have just watched the first Decendants and are loving it. If anyone sees any bargains shout pls!

SockEatingMonster · 07/09/2017 14:12

Glad you finally got your tinc order Reastie. I don't think the pens are actually scented (assume you mean these ones). The pencils and rulers are though. Which is kind of confusing...

If you can get to a Smiggle and avoid their criminally high postage, their scented pen packs are actually really good and currently on buy 3 for £5. Which is £2 cheaper than buying 1 pack Hmm. Their scented gel pens are particularly nice and frequently discounted down to £3 per pack. They come in pastel, sparkle and neon.

Thanks to whoever recommended the Toys for a Pound website. They have just restocked and have some lovely new lines. I ordered Hexbug Warriors (among other things) and so emailed them to ask if they'd all be different as it's a 'one supplied randomly' listing. The emailed back quickly and very helpfully said they always try to send all different unless the customer leaves a note asking them otherwise.

scrappydappydoo · 07/09/2017 14:25

girlwithayellowhat home bargains have a pack of descendants dolls - all the main characters for £9.99

EmGee · 07/09/2017 14:41

I've just been on the link upthread - netpricedirect and got some craft sets by Sticky Mosaics. Where I live, they cost between 15 and 20€ in Toys'R'Us so these prices were excellent.

Very bargainous BUT I'm not sure the payment has actually gone through. An email came through saying payment had been accepted but on my laptop the 'processing page' was frozen.

As any says upthread, it did have some nice wooden toys.

Batteriesallgone · 07/09/2017 14:46

If you are suspicious of the net price direct website check Amazon for seller netpricedirect - most of the stuff is on Amazon at a similar price and I've bought lots of wooden toys from them through Amazon. The delivery service is always quicker than predicted and condition / quality excellent.

Never used the website directly so can't vouch for that.

GinAndSonic · 07/09/2017 14:48

Only found an Alice in wonderland hair band in the bigger Disney shop but when I paid I asked for some of the moana and star wars posters that they had in stacks behind the till and got a handful given. So if your kids like posters, you might get some freebies in Disney.

Highmaintenancefemalestuff · 07/09/2017 14:51

Not sure if this offer has already been posted. 30 books for £15. The book people

MrsCrimbo74 · 07/09/2017 14:58

I've used netpricedirect before, and had the same problem with the payment page, however i got my goods and everything was fine

MrsPworkingmummy · 07/09/2017 15:29

20% off Monsoon and Accessorize using code SEPTRWD20

Reastie · 07/09/2017 16:15

Sockeating no wonder they don't smell!! That's annoying. I'll keep my eye on smiggle.

GohomeRoger · 07/09/2017 16:47

Knope which code did you use for the £60 off the switch? The best I can see is 10% off electricals (I assume the switch is classed as electricals?)
