For those after the giant LOL dolls, America have them on sale from the 29th September and I'm assuming the UK will be the same. Toys r us US site has been selling them on pre-order and have already sold out so i am imagining these will be the must have and impossible to get hold of toy this Christmas (like last years hatchimals). Just as well we are all prepared and organised ahead of time

I bought this magic set for my 4 year old last year. You have to be very careful with the sword as it breaks easily but he loved the set and the tricks were easy for him to manage.

I also got this to go with it which is still played with probably once a week and was more popular than the magic set itself!

@Neverenoughsleep I've just bought the big melissa and doug magic set for my boys 5th birthday in a couple of weeks. I spent quite a long time trawling for a good one, as its all he's asked for! It looks like a lot of the tricks will be manageable straightaway at his age, with some more challenging for when he's a bit older. And it looks pretty impressive too.

Can anyone point me in the right direction here. It's not really about a bargain (although I wouldn't mind one), I just don't know what to type in to find this.

My daughter (toddler) loves my purse, mainly the bank cards. I wanted to get her her own play purse with fake colourful plastic bank cards.

I've tried giving her business cards (cardboard) before now, but she specifically wants the plastic cards.

Any ideas where I can buy some from? I've so far lost my bank card twice and the dogs ate my credit card thanks to her obsession 😂

Can you collect loyalty cards from places like costa etc and just not use them and give her those to play with?

Beware magic sets for younger dc... Ds2 was desperate for a magic set when he was about 4-5 and then was incredibly disappointed that he was given the wrong set. After a lot of further questioning we eventually figured out that he was upset because he wanted the set that would allow him to turn his big brother into a toad

And there was no amount of convincing him that those sets just didn't exist - he thought we were being mean for teasing him with a set that said it was magic but was just a load of card tricks and other things that were tricks not magic

Right, you helped me loads so far. Has anyone seen any Mr men PJs for ds age 6-7, if the elves can't produce these Xmas eve ds will be devastated!!

@LexieLulu my DS was the same. I bought him a leather wallet (second hand) and some of those collectable phone cards from eBay (depending on how old you are, you may remember the type you used to put in the pay phone to make a call!) They are plastic rather than cardboard and my DS was content with them. Avoid the collectable ones and they aren't too expensive!

I use my store cards (or would if i could find my boots advantage card 😡) ... I'll will look at phone cards!

Does anyone know of any companies that I can't get a personalised jumper but one with several pictures all over rather then one at the front (iygwim)?!

My charge turns 4 next month and has asked for a "jumper with some robots and a dinosaur and some trains for the dinosaurs to ride on" (all his obsessions!!)

Short of cutting up and sewing several jumpers together I'm not sure How to solve that!
