Hello - apologies if this has already been shared by someone but I've just bought my son a gorgeous personalized Charlie and the Chocolate Factory book from Wonderbly. It's called My Golden Ticket and comes in soft or hard back. As well as the child's name you can include another adult to go into the factory with them.

A 15% off code appeared after I'd checked out so here it is if anyone can make of use of it (they do lots of lovely other personalized books too)

9yo dd wants a safe. She thought smiggle did one shaped like a tin but turns out it's a money box.

Any one seen a Safe that looks cool for kids? In other words, not just a boring black one!

EmGee · 09/09/2017 12:46

Re netpricedirect purchases. They have been delivered to my sister's who has looked at them to check packaging is not damaged etc. She says all the craft kits look great and in particular these cute cupcake lip glosses only 2.99 for ten so ideal to split up for party bags, stockings etc! Thanks for the tip - I will be using them again shame my kids are getting too old for the wooden toys

JesusDontWantMeForASunbeam · 09/09/2017 16:36

Can anyone help me please?

DS (8) has asked for a hoody with a pug on. If anyone spies a bargain can they give me a shout please? He's ADHD and pugs are his current obsession.

Also- he starts drum lessons next week and we're thinking of getting him an electric drum kit. I want to print off a load of sheet music for him so I'm looking for a suitable ringbinder. Something funky. He likes green day, oasis and similar so probably something more rocky than classical 😂

If anyone can help it would be amazing. I really need to make a proper start this year!

BlackHillsofDakota · 09/09/2017 16:44

They have ted baker fragrance reduced from £15 to £7.50 in Boots. They are still full price online. Good for teenagers. They are with the cheap fragrances like Charlie and so! Grin

2 pairs for £30 - boys & girls Heelies at Sports Direct

penstemon · 09/09/2017 18:01

I went to Smiggle today and spent £25 on the "3 for £5" deal. They didn't have as many options as they did online (none of the nail varnish highlighters for example) and there seemed to be two different "3 for £5" deals going on which weren't interchangeable. The staff in our local store were incredibly helpful. Anyway, that's DD's party bags sorted, a stocking filler for DD and DS and a couple of presents.
Also went into GAP. All of their long sleeve girls' tops had 40% off which took them down to about £6 each. They're really nice, thick cotton.

LostMyRubySlippers · 09/09/2017 18:47

Went to hobbycraft today & got my felt tree. They had the snow globes too but I resisted.
They had the decorate your own teepee & playhouse made up in the shop & both looked sturdy & good size.
They also had a couple of festive additions to the paint your own cardboard houses- an igloo & a santas workshop, both were £12

MarriedAroundChristmas · 09/09/2017 18:47

For the person looking for Beauty and the Beast ideas, they had 25% off a lot of things in the Clintons here.

Also a lovely Alice in Wonderland bag too (not sure if it was in the sale).
