Hi all long time lurker but never posted before. I'm looking for farm items for DD who'll be 3 by Christmas and came across a fab farmyard playmat/carrycase in Home Bargains today for £1.99. Picture attached (hopefully) hope its of use to someone.

Christmas bargain thread 3 - I'm back!

Anthropologie has 10% off and free delivery with the code YAY this weekend. Delivery is normally £5 so a really good deal, also works on sale. Bought dh a lovely cycling book for £13 instead of £30, and some house bits for me!

Tickyboovicki · 26/08/2017 23:26

Can anyone fill me in on what cornerstone is exactly? Would love to get OH a decent razor but this will keep sending them wont it?

Theimpossiblegirl · 26/08/2017 23:59

Cornerstone is a subscription but I have only ever ordered more blades when needed, you can set up your own time scale, cancel, postpone, it's really easy to use.
I got 'DAD' engraved and made a hamper using their razor and blades, but sourced my own balm, foam etc.
My referral if you want

Theimpossiblegirl · 27/08/2017 00:01

Just to add, I did it in my name and manage the account myself, DH was given the hamper from DD. So it's not a gift that requires the recipient to do anything.

moonbabyandthebeast · 27/08/2017 00:03

Cornerstone is a subscription you sign up to but you can stop and start or totally cancel it at anytime really easily. My DP was really pleased with his, really nice looking gift and I can vouch that they are really good quality because he has since grown a beard so I have been using them mainly! My referral link is as follows if you are interested www.cornerstone.co.uk/7CLA0098

Theimpossiblegirl · 27/08/2017 00:16

I hadn't thought of using them for legs (thinking stocking fillers for the teens).
:)

WaitingForEgg · 27/08/2017 00:18

Anyone know when the Christmas products on matalan listed as "coming soon" are likely to be for sale? I have a few things I want to get but would rather avoid multiple orders with postage costs

primitivemom · 27/08/2017 00:32

Will Argos do another 3for 2 before Xmas folks? X

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2017 01:09

I think there's usually another Argos 3 for 2 in November.

Re cornerstone - so I have to pay £20 for the set?
That's too much for the recipient I have in mind
Am I confused?

AceyMcLaughlin · 27/08/2017 09:00

Just browsing the H&M sale, saw this unicorn tape dispenser for all those unicorn lovers out there!

NoWordForFluffy · 27/08/2017 09:02

Most people only got the razor and blades last year, which was £4 when using the discount code. If you wanted to get one of the creams with it, my DH rates the shaving cream (which we've only ever tried when they've given it to us for free!). That will add another £5 to the order.

ipswichwitch · 27/08/2017 09:07

Smyths has £5 off a £25 spend with code AUG5

SheStoodInTheStorm · 27/08/2017 09:10

@Wait4nothing I'm sure Asda had them cheap too!!

If you were near me I'd sell you mine! Have 3 or 4 bags of them.

ipswichwitch · 27/08/2017 09:16

Someone on a previous thread was looking for Lego tape and smyths have it in for £6.99 for a metre, in a few different colours. Might not be the most bargainous out there but if you use the code above and get a toy for £20, you could add the tape and get it for £1.99, if that makes sense.

Also in smyths
Lego dimensions are 3 for 2.

Lego Batman Movie Batcave break in £76.99 - rrp £109.99

Lego duplo box of fun £29.99 instead of £39.99

SockEatingMonster · 27/08/2017 09:19

@QOD there's an option somewhere during the checkout process to deselect items from the cornerstone box. You can deselect everything except the razor and blades which, with the referral discount, gives a price of £4 (free p&p). Last year people were either posting their referral links to generate account credit and using that to make separate orders of the creams etc to fill the box, or just presenting the razor and blades in a wash bag or similar.

QOD · 27/08/2017 09:24

Aaaah thanks got ya @SockEatingMonster

QOD · 27/08/2017 09:28

It won't let me deselect?

ipswichwitch · 27/08/2017 09:36
