Look at post two for some hopefully useful links/info.

@chocolatepud THANK YOU! I wanted the felt trees last year. Have bought two and bulked out the order for free postage with lots of stocking filler bits (unicorn erasers, transfer tattoos, wooden puzzles all very cheap)

StrawberryStar · 04/09/2017 21:51

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts thank you! DS is drowning in Lego but I'll have a look at the other bits. He got monopoly jnr for his birthday and loves it so games are a really good idea.

Annwithnoe · 04/09/2017 22:14

Threeandabit slightly over budget but the Lego heads in my house love books like this There are a few similar ones too.

cookiefiend · 04/09/2017 22:24

I had a playmobil life raft in my basket on amazon last night as an add on item for £4.93. It seemed to go out of stock this morning and back up to £12.99, but I realised if you go to the new and used section you can still buy it from amazon with an estimated dispatch date of 19 September.

Still an add on item, but good if you have other things in the basket.

Can anyone help me out? I was going through Birmingham International today on my way back to Spain where we live and DS was looking in WH Smith at what he said was Star Wars Top Trumps. I couldn´t look at the time having other things to do like queue and I thought I would find it on the WH website but I can´t see anything there. Star Wars top trumps I have found those on amazon but this looked to me to be different. I might be wrong but it seemed like it was in some sort of tin, mainly black with a picture on the front.

I would love to know what it was.

Does it ring any bells with anyone?

margaritasbythesea · 04/09/2017 22:31

p.s. it was one of the things obviously on display

Soslowmo · 04/09/2017 22:31

Hatchimals - I continue to be a complete idiot... so, I missed it when they went down to £48 on Amazon, then they were at £56 and I was still holding out for a price drop... now they're back up to £63.
Are there any money off deals coming up do you think or should I bite the bullet and buy the damn thing before they sell out everywhere?! 😫

Haudyerwheesht · 04/09/2017 22:45

I can't link for some reason but I hve these in my wish list for dd (6) and ds (10) and thought they'd make a nice gift as a stand alone thing too if anyone was interested ...

Christmas bargain thread 3 - I'm back!
margaritasbythesea · 04/09/2017 22:46

Thanks EnglishRose - I reckon it could be. Thanks- I will check with DS tomorrow.

MamaMiaBebe · 04/09/2017 22:49

Soslowmo I've been keeping an eye on Hatchimals too, I have a feeling they will go down in price again. I think they sold out last year because the company hadn't anticipated the demand for them. I would think there will be plenty this year but you never know.

DS has been talking about wanting a Hatchimal for a while now but just today changed his mind to a Furby! Furby Connect are only £35 in Argos so they would be the preferred toy... Then tonight he says he wants both Grin Personally, I think the Furby Connect has more to it than the Hatchimal. Will probably get him the Furby and the cheap Hatchimal Colleggtibles.

Soslowmo · 04/09/2017 23:14

Mama - I spoke to someone working in The Entertainer - she said she thought furby connects are better as do more things. My dd asked for a hatchimal last year and has her heart set on one for Christmas this time - I haven't managed to persuade her on to a furby. Really hope they will drop in price again!

christmasunicorn · 05/09/2017 06:37

soslowmo also waiting for hatchimal deal but missed Amazon. Smyths will do a 20% off soon so they will go down to £51 there

christmasunicorn · 05/09/2017 06:40

Also for those unsure about hatchimals they are now doing mini bag charm ones for 9.99 here and wind up ones here ds2 has asked for 10 hatchimals (hahaha!) so I'm being a bit creative.

Reastie · 05/09/2017 06:42

Will be at work until lunch but will check back for new thread then, getting near the end already!

christmasunicorn I haven't seen it in a shop as the selection near me is terrible - shops no longer seem to stock them, so paid £10 for it on ebay!! Well worth it for my dds as they play with them daily and there's not many they haven't got! not as bad as dd birthday where I paid £12 for the shimmer and shine one

threeandabit for 6 year old how about little collectibles like mini hatchimals, shopkins, num nums. My dd is 5 and loves those sort of things. Or if she's into lego how about a lego book - we have lego play and dd's enjoy looking through it. Top trumps are also popular with my dd's - there's lots of different ones characters, animals etc.

Soslowmo · 05/09/2017 08:16

Thanks unicorn - any idea when synths 20% will be?

FoofFighter · 05/09/2017 09:02

@margaritas - wasn't SW Dobble was it?

MamaMiaBebe · 05/09/2017 09:20

Soslowmo Amazon back down to around £56 For Hatchimals.

Annwithnoe · 05/09/2017 09:36

I think Sept 15th was mentioned as the Smuths date but maybe someone with more knowledge can confirm.

Soslowmo · 05/09/2017 10:01

Thanks Mama - think I should just go for it before I regret it??? 🤔

MamaMiaBebe · 05/09/2017 10:14

Soslowmo I'm thinking it won't go down further than £48ish since they are still going to be pretty popular this year. I'd probably go for it just so I had it and know my kid will have it on Christmas day Smile I'm going to buy the Furby for DS tomorrow as £35 is too good to pass! Aww think of their wee faces on Christmas day Grin

MamaMiaBebe · 05/09/2017 10:17

Soslowmo the pink one is back up to £59.95 already Angry Draggle is still at cheaper price though.

penstemon · 05/09/2017 10:30

What does a Furby Connect actually do? Would both DC need one? More importantly, how annoying are they?

JangleJangleJangle · 05/09/2017 10:37

Haudyerwheesht - I've just added those books to my list for my dds. Thanks!
