I need to avoid over spending in a mad panic and actually be able to enjoy December this year!

First bargain of the Christmas shop for me was 30 sharpies for £8 in Tesco today. Oh and 'That's not my unicorn' for £3.49 in Sainsbury's!

cloud if you are looking for more sharpies etc argos had the 12 pack of highlighters for £3.49 might be worth checking your local. Although your pack sounds huge and might already have them lolx

I'm no good at doing links,but in the Hot UK Deals highlights email I got today,I saw that you can get four £25 (so £100 worth) of Build-A-Bear vouchers for £65-so you could buy the vouchers for only £65 but get £100 worth of stuff with the vouchers

I also saw in lidl that they have lots of unicorn-related items so things like craft books and that if there's any unicorn fans around

Well after spending years trying to get rid of fucking tat I have now acquired a 12 inch pink thing that spouts balls out of the top!! big pink fucker Good bargain though

@pigyoinkoinks do you have a budget in mind for you fil? Depending on level of health, an electronic photo frame loaded with pics of family and digitised pics from his own life propped up by bedside where he could see might be nice. cashmere or silk clothing (blanket/jumper/socks/hat) are lightweight, gentle on skin and very warm and very much appreciated when circulation is a problem, an iPad can be wonderful for reading newspapers (enlarge the print), tracking down old music on YouTube, watching old films, or a mix tape of old songs from his 20s and 30s might bring a smile. Some pricey suggestions I know but we can keep eyes peeled for bargains for you.
