picards I know when I've ordered from the works in the past quite a lot of items say they're not eligible for offer codes- not sale stuff but things like the 2 for £5 type offers & other random items???

@WreckTangled - I have a lot of Aunts Uncles and GP's to buy for and we now do food or drink gifts. Something slightly "up" from what they usually have so that it's a treat but one you know they'll actually eat/drink

So have done Betty's biscuits & cakes one year, hotel chocolat for last two years (as I joined the tasting club then never unjoined 😊) have bought whiskey and gin when on offer in supermarkets too.

I also did Emma bridgewater mugs (from the sale) one year as they were £5/6 each

L'occitane link

Picards- I've had that before. It's because it's 'up to 20% off' (sneaky buggers) so depending on what you buy, you get different percentages off. They also only have certain things eligible (never the reduced book sets like the Mr Men set my kids want... )
So looks like the only eligible item is your £1 thing, on which you have a 5% discount.

Surely the L'occitane stuff from the pound shop isn't 'proper' l'occitane stuff though? The packaging doesn't look like any L'occitane packaging I've ever seen.

Those beer crates that were popular last year are reduced to 50p in my local Poundland.

The Tripp luggage sale is on again (remembered it from last year). Suitcases, holdalls etc at up to 70% off. Just got a last minute suitcase but might suit someone for a present. Last year I bought BIL a smart bag for work from there for his new job.
There is a L'occitane shop in São Paulo, Brazil as wondered past it a few times. Sadly never went in so can't help on the branding questions but they certainly do have it out there.
