Wow, prequel is all filled up and it's not even august!

So I will start a new op at some point but since it's only July and things will be slower the links will portably be out of date by the time the next thread starts so I'll save that for later.

Welcome everyone to Christmas Bargain Central, a place to post and share ideas and offers .

Thanks for the Lisa Angel reminder. Extra 20% off sale prices until midnight tonight with code SUNSHINE
Just bought six things for £30 including a personalised gold necklace!

Wait4nothing · 07/08/2017 07:37

Tesco had lots of summer toys reduced to half price yesterday - including pop up tents for £5 to £8 that looked lovely.
I'm off food shopping at Sainsbury's and Aldi today so hoping to find a bargain or 2 😃

SockEatingMonster · 07/08/2017 09:40

Avon have loads of Christmassy stuff in their clearance section, including boxed bubble bath baubles for 75p, Christmassy necklace and bracelet set with 16 removable charms for £4 and 12-charm 'advent calendar' bracelet for £5.

Free postal delivery for orders over £30, today only, or free delivery via a local rep.

Be aware that offers and prices change (for better and worse) when you select a local rep. Some products disappear completely. Anything already in your bag stays and holds its price though, so worth adding everything, picking a rep, then adding/removing where prices are cheaper.

You can use the code FLASHTEN to get 10% off for Fragrance Direct- they sell perfumes, aftershave, make up,gifts etc and their emails offer regular discounts, and I think they've free shipping

If any of ye are in Ireland (or maybe they ship aboard or have websites in other regions),the Deals Zone website has great offers sent by email each day, including retro video game consoles that are at least half price, with some even being less than half price Smile

cookiefiend · 07/08/2017 15:51

Pigy have you thought of a photo book or similar. My grandparents love them as they are so much better than the albums they had- a nice hardback book.

Also depending on
How well he is there are these nice journal books called "to grandma (loads of different relatives available) from you to me". It is a book of prompts for them to fill in of memories to pass to their grandchild.

Wait4nothing · 07/08/2017 16:35

Oh lovely - I'm going to ask if nephew is after any films (he has a November birthday)

mummmy2017 · 07/08/2017 16:38

Wait to see what is a good bargain

Twistmeandturnme · 07/08/2017 16:42

Please may I join you? I bought stockings yesterday for all the adults in the family as we've at last realised that adults like opening stuff but we're all terribly hard to buy for! So I'm very keen on ideas for small things which aren't expensive but are nice. Last year I found some silk socks and games and mini jars of pate for grown ups, finger lights and mini lamps etc for children., so need those kind of ideas without breaking the bank please.
If I find any bargains I'll share them, but nothing amazing yet!

TheImprobableGirl · 07/08/2017 16:48

The Lisa Angel site has some really pretty leather and Matt gold necklaces for £1.40 each!

Annwithnoe · 07/08/2017 17:32

canihavechocolateplease thanks for the link. So many great bargains die on the shipping costs to Ireland Sad

ChristmasSeacow · 07/08/2017 17:44

Thanks for the tip about the ELC CD player Tatty. It's one of DS's favourite toys ever - we are already on our second one so I have invested in a spare!

Don't be put off - they are quite robust but DS has ASD and messes with the buttons A LOT. It's controlling the numbers on the display that he likes best Grin

TheImprobableGirl · 07/08/2017 18:03

Labyrinth game is only £11 at Debenhams, great price

Youranus · 07/08/2017 18:15

Fly London boots for £40. For some reason, only the size 3 boots are this price though.

These are £33, but again, only in size 3. I'd be delighted to recieve a pair of either for Christmas.
