Iwannasnack the Aldi candles are now permanent stock! I read this a couple of weeks ago and have been searching for them since. I had no luck in locating them until yesterday, and that's because they no longer live in the central random aisles but have a proper shelf space now!

In Durham aldi it is above the ice cream freezer next to the light bulbs and bin bags 🤔

I haven't burned mine yet but I bought no1 and it's a blatant jo malone smell.

TQ Toys were popular for wooden toys and Melissa & Doug last year.

Dobble is a great game for the whole family. You can handicap it by giving adults extra cards, and it's quick!

Dds speech therapist uses it and my 4 dc 5-10 yo play it!

After following the link ok here for the train table (which I didnt buy), ive just bought lots of reduced wrapping paper and christmas cards as well as some other cheap presents from www.studio.co.uk

I would second the recommendation for tq toys- have ordered from then a few times now after hearing of them on here a couple of years ago. The M&D stuff is cheaper than Amazon & I've also ordered things with 'damaged packaging' which are further reduced but any damage is barely noticeable

I've got dc aged 6, 10 & 13.

Family games we all love are;
Dobble
Frustration - the kids version is a favourite at the moment, although ds also loves his angry birds one too.
Monopoly Empire (a shorter type of monopoly and more fun imo)
Labyrinth is quite fun too.

Would you guys shout if you come across any moshi monster stuff. DS (6) is obsessed with them and they are not exactly mainstream anymore.

I would second the pp who mentioned dobble as a good family game. You can get it on the wish app for about £5 but it takes at least a month to arrive. The wish version is called Spot it. The 7+ version comes in a little round tin. The junior version has fewer cards and no tin and is half the price.
