@SideOrderofSprouts deffo Balance Bike. Get one with pneumatic tyres and a bit of growing room. Some are tiny. My youngest was riding a pedal bike at 3 whereas the other two were both 7.

I know some posters used All Things Brighton Beautiful last year for stocking fillers. Their sale has just started and has some nice bits and pieces.

@sideorderofsprouts just to confuse you further. I got my guy a scooter when he was 18 months and he got great use out of it. He's still scooter mad now, he's 7, his first scooter (micro) is still going strong and is being used by no.3. He was also given a balance bike for his 2nd birthday and never took to it, interestingly neither did the others.

I'm looking for a dolls house for my 2.5 year old. Does anyone have the rosebud one from ELC? Ideally I think I should go a bit bigger as I'd like her to get a few years out of it. Open to all suggestions

We got the rosebud hospital last year and while it's very pretty I think it's quite flimsy, as wooden toys go. DD is very gentle and it's kept in her room away from her rambunctious brothers.
We have other wooden toys that have been climbed on downstairs without any damage.
I'd say it depends on how much abuse it needs to take
