Smyths have 3for2 on Schleich animals & dinosaurs ATM. They're great stocking fillers. DS2 has a birthday later this month, so I bought some animals for that, then bought dinosaurs for DS1s stocking.

Blimey can't believe it's started already. Second year on the threads, only joined in around thread 9 last year.

DS is three in two weeks, sorted for that so mainly looking for ideas for him.

Will definitely be getting the Ikea Christmas tree this year, got one for the first time last year and it was great, lasted well and hardly dropped any needles. And then had a £20 voucher to spend in Feb!

Hamleys have a clearance sale on at the moment with some further reductions, if it's useful for anyone?

Thanks pelvic I am eyeing up a balance bike for my just turned 2 year old. Any one have any thoughts on what's best - a balance bike or one with stabilisers?

Bird I found the scuttlebug type little bikes really good for that age

Bird- definitely a balance bike. My 2 year old absolutely loves his. He can whizz off super quick on it. Im not sure they have the leg strength for bikes with pedals at 2.

Pelvic-some good buys on hamleys-filled my basket before finding its £12 delivery to NI!

Hi Demented- re teen boys with xbox. I ordered a mug off Amazon one year said 'keep calm personal name and enjoy your Xbox' (you can put whatever message you like) it was around a fiver and came boxed. I've done this a few times with lots of different personal messages (keep calm, name enjoy cooking, keep calm name and keep writing, its just a job etc) search personal mug on amazon. The fiver included delivery too. I'm normally really ahead with Christmas shopping but have hardly started this year through circumstances so reading this thread has me panicked!
