ive been collecting photos of gorgeous real christmas trees and have a pinterest board...does anyone have any of their own

I started to sing "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas" today and DD gave me a very odd look.
For some reason this afternoon - on the 1st June - I bizarrely felt very Christmassy.

Yes, me! Nothing Christmas to cheer you up. I'm thinking of splashing out on a new artificial tree this year so also looking for inspiration. I'm guessing they should be on sale most places if i buy over the summer?

Not a tree, but I got a lovely Christmas blanket / throw from bhs online last year. It's red and white like santa's coat, although I think the official name was "Sherpa throw". I love it. It might still be in my lounge

I am having a thoroughly shit time at the moment, and one thing that always puts a smile on my face, even if only briefly, is looking at pictures of my trees from previous years. I'm very glad I am not the only one thinking about Christmas in June!

For the first year ever we have a room big enough to have an 8ft tall FRESH tree.
I actually burst into tears, got up early every morning just to sit by it and enjoy a cuppa and spammed my instagram with it. I was so obsessed and am already looking forward to this years one!

I must admit though, I miss seeing tinsel on trees. As a child of the 70's I like the Christmas decorating to look like an explosion in a tinsel factory! I still have tinsel on my tree. loads. Wouldn't be Christmas without it!
