Thank you for all the well wishes everyone. She really is a pleasure and I can't wait for Christmas with a baby in the family again. Ds is a brilliant dad, he is so attentive to her needs and isn't scared to play silly games or sing to her. He split up with baby's mum when she was about 10 weeks old but they are working well together most of the time.

Luckily all my bargain hunting in the January sales meant she had everything she needed here as well as at home. I even bought her a Christmas stocking with baby's first Christmas on for about £2

My son was born in Feb and whilst he is young and doesnt care about loads of presents i buy a mix of toys he can play with anytime and toys to bring out in the summer!

I was thinking about you the other day, Voldemort. I'm so glad things are working out, even though your DS and her mum have split. It must be lovely for you to be able to see her so often!

What a beauty Voldemort - I also remember your surprise news last year and It's lovely to hear the situation has worked out well in the end.
I'd recommend using her birthday as an opportunity to buy summer toys (as she'll have just had indoor toys for Xmas) so you could start with the summer sales 😃 We have a foldable slide (which fits in our small shed) and our 15 month old loves a little rocking seesaw (the crocodile one at playgroup is a huge hit!)

Do the bday codes from mothercare no longer work on sale items does anyone know? Seemingly not!
