Hello!

So many people have said they miss the bargain threads that I thought I would have to start EVEN earlier this year.

So here we are!

Happy hunting

Www.notonthehightstreet.com has a great sale on ATM. Sorry if it has already been mentioned.

I managed to spend quite a bit....

AlbusPercival · 17/07/2017 08:28

Vouchercloud have 40% off including sale at body shop.

ipswichwitch · 17/07/2017 17:23

Last day for SpaceNK sale, up to 75% off.

Picked up the playmobil crane, and my word it's a large box! You weren't kidding Tatty! I've decided it's for DS2's birthday since we try to spend very little but make it look impressive (birthday just before Christmas plus we factor in cost of party etc) so thanks again for that Smile

woodwaj · 17/07/2017 18:53

Little tip for Noths. I google the seller and they usually have a private page that is even cheaper

FireflyGirl · 17/07/2017 19:29

Speaking of large boxes - the Imaginext knights castle is reduced to clear at £15.99 at Argos, and it's massive! The kid on the picture must be about 5 foot tall!

NoWordForFluffy · 17/07/2017 19:37

Firefly, you're single-handedly getting my DS sorted for Christmas! 🎅 🎄

FireflyGirl · 17/07/2017 19:45

Glad to be of service Xmas Grin

It is a very impressive present, though!

Also, not on their website, but if anyone has one nearby, Home Bargains have got Star Wars Mr Potato Head, Luke or Stormtrooper, for £4.99.

The inlaws have just got the kids the Imaginext Batman cave, which DS loves, so he will adore this, I'm sure.

I've just told DH that it has to go straight up to the loft and he can gift wrap it while he's up there! 😂

ipswichwitch · 17/07/2017 19:54

The imaginext batcave and castle are fab (DSes got them last Christmas). If you can, get the battering ram and catapult that go with the castle, they make for a fantastic battle scenario!

ipswichwitch · 17/07/2017 20:21

At smyths
Thomas take-n-play tidmouth sheds for £12.99 (reduced from £29.99)

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2017 09:50

I looked at those, ipswich, but they are as much as the castle itself, and I just couldn't bring myself to do it... Grin

Me neither, Firefly!

MonsterQueen · 18/07/2017 11:38

Unfortunately the reviews for the tractor are awful. Such a shame as I am looking for something like that.

FireflyGirl · 18/07/2017 12:36

There's one in Argos for £49.99, Monster, that has got really good reviews. Best price ever, apparently.

Rockhopper81 · 18/07/2017 12:37

I need to get to Home Bargains and look for the Trooper Potato Head - I have Luke Frywalker and Darth Tater, I feel I need the set!! Smile

MonsterQueen · 18/07/2017 13:50

Thank you Firefly! That looks great!

bunningsbunny · 18/07/2017 16:06

Sainsbury's have a 25% off lots of toys sale at the moment...

My local one had lots of brand name board games (including things like goggle eyes and maybe pie face - sorry, so many I can't remember which now), lots of Lego sets, lots of their own brand toys... might be more - these were things I spotted on their promotions aisle and I was in a hurry so didn't get to go down the toy aisle. They had also dug out their racks of cheap family DVDs etc.

Not the best of discounts but convenient and pretty good if you need to buy stuff anyway!

nickdrakeslovechild · 18/07/2017 19:18

Anyone know when the sainsburys toy sale is this year?

Theimpossiblegirl · 18/07/2017 22:33

It's worth waiting for magazine subscriptions- I got the Joseph Joseph stacking bowls for myself last year with a £9.99 6 month GH subscription.

Reastie · 19/07/2017 07:00

I've been MIA, sorry. Trying not to spend too much! But my present cupboard and Christmas purchases are looking rather sparse. Hope you're all well.

Theimpossible I got those stacking bowls last year too and I love them, best free gift on a magazine ever!

Theimpossiblegirl · 19/07/2017 07:29

It was my best Christmas present! :)

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2017 07:35

If you by the subscription as a gift, who got the bowls?!

NoWordForFluffy · 19/07/2017 07:36

Bought, not by. #notawakeyet

Iwannasnack · 19/07/2017 08:05

I think Sainsbury's toy sale is usually around October half term.
