Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

Eva just setup a new email Grin

Eva50 · 22/12/2016 14:51

I think they may be getting suspicious. But hey, it's Christmas!

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 22/12/2016 19:42

DSs last minute change of Santa present has just got even more fecking elaborate. What was originally a wheelbarrow and a chainsaw changed to a train and has now bloody well turned into a yellow train. Like the mug I am I've already checked Amazon prime to see if I find a yellow train in addition to all the previous Santa requests but no luck. I need to be strong. He will not spend Christmas morning wondering where his yellow train is. Tries desperately to convince self that this is the case even though brothers Christmas was ruined because much coveted TB2 was at granny's and so he thought Santa didn't give a shit Grin

Fueled - will he definitely remember asking? And would he really miss it? My Ds who is six has asked for lots in the last few weeks. I was very surprised yesterday when I took him to a toyshop which had a few of them but he gave them up pretty easily in favour something he has wanted for ages, a part of which he has asked Santa for. I was extremely relieved.

Apart from that, I stick to the position that once the Santa letters are sent, that's what you've asked for. Usually they forget that too.

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 22/12/2016 22:17

He's 2.5 so doesn't get it properly yet. He does tend to remember though. He was 100% on the original requests until he fell in love with a train in a shop then it's been that consistently. Also about 2 or 3 weeks ago he randomly announced that Santa was bringing the dogs yoghurts Confused we haven't mentioned it since but just out of curiosity today I asked if the dogs would get anything from Santa and he immediately said yoghurts. I may have to suck up the colour though Sad it's a #firstworldproblem but just feel things are becoming ever so slightly derailed as I have got concussion and DH appears to have some strain of man flu Hmm

winewolfhowls · 22/12/2016 22:19

Sale on at Ness clothing. Like joules with a Scottish twist. Really impressed with their fast delivery this week, it's the first time I have bought anything from there.

Playmobil pirate ship fifteen pounds at Morrisons today, wish I had bought it.

winewolfhowls · 22/12/2016 22:22

For the person who was making a gym kit present have you seen powerballs, it's a gyroscope thing you rotate your wrist to make it move. Builds arm muscle and looks cool, you can get a light up one. A good stocking filler, for about a tenner.

LibertineLola · 22/12/2016 22:25

Fueledwithfairydustandgin Molly from Thomas and friends is yellow. Toys r us usually have most of the characters in one range or another?

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 22/12/2016 23:10

libertine thank you (I think Grin ) couldn't get Molly but can either get Stephen or a gold Thomas (or both Blush ) DH will go mad. Will blame it on the concussion Grin I feel much happier now

LibertineLola · 22/12/2016 23:14

Fueled I'm glad your sorted 😂

margaritasbythesea · 23/12/2016 10:50

Quite right Fueled. After all the effort the present buyer goes to, you don't want less than delighted reactions because of one detail. The non-present buyer can shove it!

butterflymum · 23/12/2016 14:51

Bounce Off Rock 'n' Rollz was £7.00 in Sainsbury's today. Seems c£17 most other places. Good for an after dinner game on Christmas day.

verytiredmummy1 · 23/12/2016 14:52

Did anyone else write to Santa on the Royal mail address and not get a reply? We wrote with plenty of time before deadline but haven't got a reply :(

Mummyreindeerlegz · 23/12/2016 14:55

I wrote in November and got one response immediately and one a couple of days ago!

Igottastartthinkingbee · 23/12/2016 17:33

We sent letters a couple of days before the deadline and got an answer a week later I think. Put our decorated stars in the window to help the reindeers!

SomethingOfTheNight · 23/12/2016 17:33

Body Shop have failed to deliver my order of a few extra stocking fillers, due to "an error in their warehouse ". Xmas Angry

ihatethecold · 23/12/2016 17:42

Has anyone seen any reduced crackers anywhere?

ASpiderInTheManger · 23/12/2016 17:49

SonethingOfTheNight, they did that to me three years ago. I'd ordered stuff in plenty of time for Christmas and it didn't turn up till mid Jan. I do love body shop so the following year I gave them another chance and they sent me someone else's order which was completely to mine. I had to go through the hassle of sending it back and again my order arrived mid Jan. Didn't even receive an apology Angry
I still buy from them though because they're reasonably priced, their products are lovely and their anti animal testing ethos is good but I always go to one of their shops now and will never order online from them again at this time of year!

FallenSky · 23/12/2016 18:01

ihatethecold Sainsburys had some crackers reduced when I was in there earlier. Didn't pay attention to the prices though I'm afraid!

LavateLasManos · 23/12/2016 18:18

verytired if you've got access to a printer you can make your own personalised letter at www.freelettersfromsantaclaus.com/

NotSoNewNow · 23/12/2016 18:56

ihatethecold crackers are 1/2 price in John Lewis

Whatdoesaturkeydo · 23/12/2016 19:32

Dogmatix34 · 23/12/2016 19:53

Can I just say thank you to whoever posted the slide guitar from The Works. We've had an early Christmas with my DB and DN and it went down so well with my 14 year old DN,

GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 23/12/2016 21:10

Paperchase sale has started now too. Just about to look as I need more Christmas cards for next year but I'm not sure if all Christmas stuff on sale yet. Definitely saw crackers on there thoug

I think that might have been me, Dogmatix34. Glad it was a success. Hoping it goes down well here too on Christmas day.
