choccy good point. Colour was only specified a few days ago and not on original Santa list. Just 'super cool bigger bike'. I know he'll be chuffed to bits with it regardless. It is definitely super cool

snowgirl my DC would have loved a ream of paper to go with the sharpies and maybe a plastic box file or wallet to put all the treasured pictures in.

However - must say you're brave giving sharpies to a 5yr old! I'm only just giving them to my ds(11) who has always been good at drawing and colouring but even he still forgets to put lids on or drops pens or doesn't realise they've gone through the paper quite so much. And ds2 tries desperately hard but hasn't got great fine motor control so ends up going off the paper all the time... Which is bad enough with ordinary felt pens but would be a nightmare with permanent sharpies...

Sorry, just realised that might sound like I'm trying to put a dampener on your present which I'm not - just didn't want you to discover too late that they were permanent!

Toblerone, I've seen charger plates in gold in poundland that were quite nice. Buy and extra one for a centerpiece, stick some candles on it and arrange some foliage (moss/ivy/branches off your Xmas tree) or extra baubles around the candles.

Don't know about their delivery times. You can also find similar plates in m&s/wilcos and supermarkets, so try there?

anyone know where I can purchase a Nintendo 2ds bundle with mario kart or mario. I've looked in argos but it won't let me change store which probably means it's sold out fully. I'm in Barnet if anyone is able to change the store . thanks

Hmmm, that's a good point confuugled1. You'd think I'd have learnt from the "artwork" she did with a black sharpie on our cream kitchen cabinets when she was about 18 months / 2 years! Fortunately, lots of elbow grease, lots of cleaning products and, finally, magic eraser got it off. But permanent markers might not be appreciated as a present, so I might have to re-think that!

Wondering if anyone can help! Thanks to earlier suggestion of buying a number 7 iron on transfer for DS's birthday (Xmas Day). Problem is I can't find a top I like to iron it onto! I wasn't so keen on just a plain white t-shirt/top but was trying to find a raglan/baseball style ie/ plain white with long black sleeves. ohholyfuck when I bought something from paperchase recently if I signed up for a free loyalty card I got 10 or 15% off my next order, even if it was 5 minutes later. And I bought something that was less than a fiver so don't think there was a minimum spend for the first spend to get the card, to save the big spend to get the discount on.

The code/card discount would have worked online or in store.

Might be worth investigating if you can get the loyalty card online (or ask in store if you are there in person).
