Aldi had a placematix toddler dinner set for a tenner - everything sticks together lego-style and it says it is compatible with duplo bricks. It will be perfect for my one year old and will hopefully stop him throwing everything on the floor!

I still have stuff to do, I've been slow since DCs dad drastically cut his working hours to drastically cut maintenance, meaning we have a lot less cash floating about that we otherwise would. I haven't twitched on many things on here as I've kept it strictly down to toys I know will get a lot of play.
DD was playing with magnatiles in a department store yesterday though, it was 20quid for a box of 30 tiles, which I quick search showed me is cheaper than amazon. BUT has anyone seen and preferably tried any off brand versions where I will get more for my money?
Also still after a 16-18in doll that closes it's eyes when lay down, preferably soft bodied.
Might twitch on labyrinth yet, ds would like a game and it seems to be rated by several posters on here.

Gutted to have missed out on the nun noms lip gloss truck. Annoyingly didnt buy it when it was in stock and a low-ish price as DD hadn't mentioned it for months. Now she's "expecting" it in her stocking and " it won't matter if its sold out in the shops as Santa has everything" 😳
