GodReastieMerryGentlemen · 08/12/2016 12:27

Nope, I have no idea what a present shitting log is either.

See post 2 for links etc and note the addition of a link with more info to the mn Christmas appeal, a very good cause if you're looking to donate to charity this Christmas time.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 13/12/2016 21:08

Drspouse for 2yr old use www.babipur.co.UK beautiful toys recommended lanka kade use code "snow" for 10% off full price items, click gift message and they wrap it beautifully no extra charge.

Highfivethatfart · 13/12/2016 21:09

iazzaroo I'm no nail varnish expert but I prefer Essie to OPI. Boots have some nice gift sets although I suspect Amazon may be cheaper:

DD (age 9) pile is too small I think. What is popular with 9 year olds this year? DD likes to keep up with her peers. She also stationery and making jewelry. Any present ideas welcomed

Leeloo2 · 13/12/2016 21:30

angryangryyoungwoman - the £15(ish) track is just some track for the mice to run round.

The £18.49 (reduced from £30) set has track, a house and 2 mice.

It's a complete bargain. I'd just placed an order on Amazon for

House (included 1 mouse) - about £20
The track you linked to above -£15
An extra mouse -(so 1st mouse had a friend) -£11

So cancelled all that and got the argos set instead! :-)

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 13/12/2016 21:32

Someone help me with cheap presents for kids for our Christmas party. Range of kids 2-11, either prizes for games or leaving presents. HELP! I need to order them tonight.

Leeloo2 · 13/12/2016 21:32

Oh and I know nothing about them either beyond small dd admiring them in a shop and me realising on wrapping her presents she had far less 'wow' presents than her siblings, so looking around for something exciting.

Littlemissindependent · 13/12/2016 21:38

Body Shop have 40% off everything with code 19807, plus free delivery if you spend over £5 PLUS free gift (200ml shea body butter)

Polkadot1974 · 13/12/2016 21:51

Help- i need a present for my amazing cleaner who is now a friend too- £15 - £20 is all I can really stretch to, but I would like something fabulous, just for herself. She has nice brand stuff and an immaculate house, as you'd expect. Any ideas? I usually get jewellery which goes down well- maybe something nice but costume- anyone bought anything lovely of late? Done leather gloves, wine, champagne etc. so would like something nice, but a bit different.....ideas all welcome thank you!

Gingerbreadmam · 13/12/2016 21:57

Joma bracelets r lovely and in budget.

Sendcoffeeandchocs · 13/12/2016 22:04

Can any kind soul help me with ideas for my parents? Mid 60s, don't like stuff that has no purpose (clutter) and don't have any hobbies that I can get linked presents. My sister is already doing a hamper so that's out. They are already NT members and have subscribed to all the magazines they read. So hard to buy for!

lazzaroo · 13/12/2016 22:08

Thank you dubious and highfive

I am cross at myself for having left everything so late this year!

SpaghettiMeatballs · 13/12/2016 22:27

Does anyone have any discount codes for Fat Face please? I bought DH some pjs there last year and he loves them so want to get another pair but they are so expensive!

motherofluvlies · 13/12/2016 22:34

sendcoffee
Do they enjoy trips?Bletchley park was a resounding success here last year ..the tickets are really an annual ticket so my in laws went in summer ...nice gardens, interesting history &ha nice cafe ...I,m told ..

Admiralclingus · 13/12/2016 22:52

send my fil is impossible to buy for too. Last year I bought him a bee hotel which was really happily received. It's not "clutter" as it lives in the garden and is good for the bees who need all the help they can get

Sendcoffeeandchocs · 13/12/2016 23:06

Admiral I actually bought my dad a bee hotel last year!!

Mother, I will check Bletchley thanks.

frauleinsallybowles · 14/12/2016 00:31

how long did the clinique orders take to aŕrive the last time

MelchettsTinslyMoustache · 14/12/2016 01:26

spaghetti I searched for a FF code a couple days ago and they seem very thin on the ground. I did read that they hadn't done Black Friday reductions, preferring to donate to charity instead so perhaps they are known for their lack of discounts Xmas Sad

OTOH, their stuff is so lovely and lasts so well that I almost don't begrudge paying it. My neighbour works there and will put my stuff through on his staff discount if he's there when I go in, but I feel ridiculously awkward buying my underwear from him- I have to buy knickers when I know he's on holiday Hmm the most ridiculous part of this is that he's both gay and happily married. I doubt his dinner party conversation even strays near the subject of my smalls

margaritasbythesea · 14/12/2016 06:22

Natural blonde - marks have some heavily reduced nice sets. I sound like your sister. I like a bit of luxury for a present. I would like one of those (with the lip stuff in - it's great)

margaritasbythesea · 14/12/2016 06:23

Might be nice for your cleaner friend to polkadot.

Atticmatic · 14/12/2016 07:00

frau I ordered from Clinique on Monday and I've had a despatch email this morning that says it is coming via Royal Mail, 2-5 days.

Nearlyadoctor · 14/12/2016 07:04

Little tikes Cozy coupe car down to £25.07 on Amazon this morning!

Igottastartthinkingbee · 14/12/2016 07:13
