A few pages back someone was after cheap teacher/nursery/token gifts. In the past (on a v tight year!) I bought a bargain tin of roses and a xmas scratch card each popped a few chocs and the card in a cellefane bag with the shredded tinsel tied up with pretty ribbon. Went down very well and worked out just over a £1 each

sestra Labyrinth always goes down well here - ds2 chose it when he was 6 and he has just as much chance of winning as anyone else (in fact he often beats everyone!) because no matter how good your strategy is, somebody will move a piece, the labyrinth changes and what was near is now a long way away and you are back to needing a new strategy.

We've also played it in pairs or teams which is fun.

A little off topic but I need some new seat pads for my dining room chairs to spruce them up for Christmas. I have ideas of some nice neutral ones that look like I live in the type of house in Homes and Gardens, obviously don't but I can dream. When I google all I seem to get are the frilly patterned ones like my Gran used to have on her kitchen chairs. Looking for some contemporary neutral ones. Any ideas ladies greatly appreciated.
