Upsetmummy27 · 01/12/2016 12:16

Mine brought advent calendars. That's it for the first day.

ginauk84 · 01/12/2016 12:46

This elf thing is new to me, do you have to find something for him to 'do' each day? I just don't think I am that imaginative.

DontOpenDeadInside · 01/12/2016 12:47

Mine made a Christmas breakfast and found my Xmas table cloth I'd been looking all over fir ;). I'll add a pic in the next post as I'm on the app and can't see an option to add a pic.

Ours has taken Kevin the carrot hostage and drawn minions on all the bananas Xmas Grin

solomonsfish85 · 02/12/2016 10:12

Is anyone else's dc frightened of the elf? It was my first time doing it yesterday and my 2 dds are afraid of their lives of him! Don't like the idea of an elf doing things in the house when they are in bed etc! It freaks them out

KingJoffreysRestingCuntface · 02/12/2016 10:20

Anal with my Totoro plushie.

winterisnigh · 02/12/2016 10:32

Nothing yet - she is in hiding ( where she has been last few years) and will only come out - 5 days before xmas eve - ( its all I can handle) she will pop in to see how the DC are - what they like, in case FC cant get whats on their list, she will get a feel for toys they like. She will also get into some mischief.

cousinella · 02/12/2016 10:48

That toilet Santa is genius. Pissing and crapping on Santa for 24 days! It's a wonderful time Wink.

MyPatronusIsABadger · 02/12/2016 13:23

Ours arrived with a welcome note to say who they were beside some smarties that spelled out Hi Badgers DC. Today Elf was roasting marshmallows over a battery powered tea light candle.

I've gotten ideas from pinterest and I've kept a note so I know what we're doing each day, tomorrow is a nice breakfast but 'my' ideas are around not having to tidy up lots of Elf mess!

ginauk84 · 02/12/2016 13:53

solomon I think my DD would be the same so I don't think it's a good idea in our house until she is a bit older, she is 3.

EnidButton · 02/12/2016 15:46

What is Tinsel doing to that teapot? Shock

DontOpenDeadInside · 02/12/2016 15:55

Dirty mind Enid Wink Dd1 is in on it this year and she put it like that.

WingedSloath · 02/12/2016 16:32

My sons are 13 and 10 and refuse to let the magic of the Elf go Grin

Today he brought them peanut kit kats as he likes to bring them treats. I am still expected to hide him so they can seek him out. He hides, moves round and every few days gets up to mischief. Years ago he wrapped the Christmas tree in toilet roll and the photo of the children's faces still warms my heart to this day.

I think this relates back to my own childhood where my Mum was miserable about decorations and wouldn't even have a tree if it was down to her. Luckily my Dad loved Christmas and had no taste when it came to decorations Grin

solomonsfish85 · 03/12/2016 21:52

Ginauk my dds are 2 and 6 and they are freaked out!! I had to write a letter from santa to say that he has taking the elf back till they are a bit older as he knows They are a bit scared of the elf! It seems from here that they are in the majority of being afraid!! My ds 11 don't give a shite

Chocolatecake12 · 03/12/2016 22:51

My naughty elf has opened the tub of heroes and dived right in!

Mummyreindeerlegz · 03/12/2016 22:53

Mine has brought new gloves for going to the Christmas tree farm tomorrow :-)

SecondaryQuandary · 03/12/2016 23:13

Last night he was rigged up to the mic on the karaoke
The night before he built up the Jenga, took all the lower middle ones out, and sat inside it
Tonight he's in a stocking on the tree

thenewaveragebear1983 · 03/12/2016 23:16

Ours climbed the curtains and ate lots of chocolate coins and left the wrappers everywhere. Tonight he I can't be arsed to think of anything but he might read a story to some dinosaurs

ARichVernacular · 04/12/2016 07:53

I went to bed early last night and mysteriously our elf didn't manage to do anything so now I have two puzzled and unhappy children downstairs Angry

They were a pair of whingebags yesterday though, so maybe she's lost her Christmas spirit.

So far this year she's arrived hidden in a cereal box with a load of chocolate shapes, and had a marshmallow snowball fight in the kitchen with Elsa and Lottie.

Previous years' antics have included fishing in the sink (wearing yellow waders handmade from an old rubber glove), skiing down the stairs with oven chips strapped to her feet, and of course the ever popular decorating the tree with pants.

DontOpenDeadInside · 04/12/2016 13:25

Tinsel got plastered Wink last night.
