So my dd has sooooo many toys as she's getting older I don't want to speaks a fortune on more toys!

So far I have bought her lots of clothes, boots and pjs and a couple of boots!

I have also got her a fountain pen that she kept asking for that's a certain brand.
What else can I get her? I am thinking maybe a nice bath set from lush.

What other stationery is impressive for kids at the moment? She lives stabilo pens but already has a set.

I want to go with useful but not boring presents this year!

My 9 year old is getting
A guitar
A kindle fire (£30 Black Friday)
A Lockable note book
A small Lego set
Lots of books
Big bottles of poster paints

She would be happy with anything from smiggle stationery wise, little rubbers in fun shapes, gel pens, a nice set of grown up colouring pens.

Lush always goes down well, mine are only really interested in bath bombs so I get them one each to have in the bath on Christmas Eve.

My older daughter has a book on how to draw manga along with manga pens and an art pad, also a Swiss Army knife and a book on whittling. These might be good for a creative 9 year old?

My 9 year old dd loves anything from smiggle that seems really popular at her school. I've also got her a slush maker, my little pony playdough, top trumps, board games, aqua beeds and cool cards refil packs. She is also into Shopkins. She only had her birthday in October so I'm struggling slightly as got her an amazon fire tablet for that

My dd 9 is getting a sweatshirt and a book so far! We do loads of trips with her, but she said recently she wants to spend more time baking etc at home. Blush I thought about making some vouchers where she gets to chose what we do for a day or something. She gets loads of presents from her massive family that we don't have room for so I am going for experience over stuff.

ChangedToday · 02/12/2016 13:38

Books! Enid Blyton, and some Minecraft fiction, plus Minecraft handbook (can you see a theme here...)
She's also just discovered my sewing machine, so a book of simple projects and some fabric.

DD was 9 in June. She's sharing a wooden marble run with her brother, and a microscope.

She's asked for a new gym leotard with shorts, and she needs some clothes so I'll get her some nice bits and pieces. I've got her a hoodie with one of her favourite quotes on.

She is dinosaur mad so most of her presents are based around that this year - duvet cover, Dino hunt dice game, set of fact cards etc.

She's been yearning for a build a bear for years now so my mum is giving her a voucher that she can use at their local one in the new year.

She loves dolls but she has sooo many, so she's got a superhero costume and a little scooter/ramp for her Lottie doll.

Most other stuff she's sharing with her brother is books, craft stuff, science etc, but one bit that's just for her is some special paper to write Japanese symbols on and a fancy marker pen for it.

For her birthday her favourite presents were a camp half blood tshirt, Banana Split card game, and a mini (but proper IYSWIM) sewing machine.

All mine really wants this year, apart from Pokémon cards & Pokémon monopoly, is a 2 or 3ds with, you guessed it, Pokémon games. Am not sure I want to get her one as I am quite strict about screen time- non in the week, couple of hours a day at the weekend, and am worried it will cause arguments! Haven't decided on that yet but other things I have in mind- sewing basket with all the bits, oil pastels, paper, how to draw book, minecraft lego
