Late to the party on this one... What was the thing a while back about hotel chocolat boxes for cheap. Was it tasting club or something? any help please

IAmAPaleontologist · 30/11/2016 08:39

Those affected by the Amazon charger recall it is the bargain of the century. Mine was recalled last year and the offer was to get a new one sent out or get Amazon credit to buy one yourself. Since it is a standard charger and therefore I had a couple at home from my phone and my kindle I chose credit. There was no restriction on spending so I spent it on books. Bargain!

Got my dispatch email for my marshmallow kit today so they are coming through.

Lego Elves Treetop Hideaway playset half price down to £20

IToldYouIWasFreaky · 30/11/2016 10:30

Hettie Not sure about "cool" but my 9 year old DS is getting some fake Heelys (which ended up being free!), K'Nex Rollercoaster, and a go-karting experience from me. He's also asked for a lot of Star Wars Lego, Nerf/K'Nex guns, Tom Gates books, a tracksuit for his favourite football team, a remote control car, and Teksta puppy (not saying he will get all of that! Just what he's asked for...)

Stocking will contain Match Annual (usually his favourite present!), personalised Match Attax cards, Match joke book, puzzles, various bits and pieces from Smiggle and lots of chocolate and sweets.

Another delurker here who needs some expert help... I bought my DD a furby connect from Very when they were £59.99, also used their £30 off code, so happy with my bargain price of £29.99! Except now her little brother has now decided he would like one too - and they seem to be back up to nearly £80 now! Is there a stock shortage that's pushing up prices, or have I just missed all the bargains??

Chocolateteabag · 30/11/2016 10:49

Mammy - BusyB have some lovely 2017 Dairies and calendars

I've got this diary and the calendar in a saver set. Handily they put all their valid codes on their T&C's page so you can see which would be the best way to buy. I really like that - nice to be transparent about things.

But they also have lots of other lovely stationary bits so watch out!

ASpiderInTheManger · 30/11/2016 10:52

mama, I got one from Amazon a couple of weeks ago for £49.99 but it was only certain colours.

Lapinlapin · 30/11/2016 10:57

Mama I don know a lot about the furbys but I've been tracking Hatchimals on the stock informer website. Recently I noticed they'd added furbys as a Hatchimal alternative. Perhaps this has pushed the prices up if everyone who couldn't get hold of a Hatchimal has opted for a furby instead?

Worth keeping an eye on the stock informer website. According to that, furbys are still £59.99 at John Lewis. Not in stock at the moment, but worth checking regularly for when they are.

MamaOdie · 30/11/2016 11:01

Thanks guys! Lapinlapin I had wondered if it was something to do with hatchimals!!

I've set up stock alerts at John Lewis and will keep trying Amazon too!

Badders123 · 30/11/2016 11:01
