bowiesblueeye thank you so much. WFH today so that'll be my lunch break!

MamaOdie · 30/11/2016 11:02

And to give something back....

H&M are giving out cards for a 10% discount with every purchase. I bought some socks, got a discount card then went back with a full basket!

ItsNiceItsDifferentItsUnusual · 30/11/2016 11:14

Glad it came through for you badders!

SymphonyofShadows · 30/11/2016 11:16

Great news Badders, mine is still showing as 16th Dec on Nintendo store

SymphonyofShadows · 30/11/2016 11:18

carrot I had to really look for the bauble on the Boots site, hopefully this should be the link. It's number three on the scrolly window thing

LBOCS2 · 30/11/2016 11:32

I think I joined the thread after the marshmallow excitement - where are they from? They look pretty good :)

CarrotVan · 30/11/2016 11:33

Thanks symphony I don't actually need anything...but

ecofreckle · 30/11/2016 11:37

<a class="break-all" href="http://uk.lizearle.com/flash-sale" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">liz earl sale with up to 35% off of gifts but only until midnight. I flippin love her hand wash.

MaryMagdelene · 30/11/2016 11:44

LB it's a company called the Naked Marshmallow Company and they had 20% off with the code Santa.

SymphonyofShadows · 30/11/2016 11:45

I know Carrot, I've only just got myself the Soap and Glory makeup but you can never have too many eyeliners can you? Grin

CarrotVan · 30/11/2016 11:49

Just seen a post on FB that Home Bargains have Thorntons advent calendars for 99p if anyone still needs one

dancemom · 30/11/2016 11:52

My Hudl has given up the ghost - I only need it to watch Netflix in bed! Is the Amazon Fire a suitable alternative and is it barginous?

Unluckycat1 · 30/11/2016 11:54

drinkingtea I've fallen down the v&a rabbit hole, it's all so pretty!

Spiderpants · 30/11/2016 11:55

No Luck, so if anyone knows of where i can get one in greater Manchester it would be appreciated.

SymphonyofShadows · 30/11/2016 11:56

Thanks for the heads up on amazon chargers. The one I got for DS was only delivered on Saturday and it has the dodgy charger. I called them and got an accelerated one sorted. Seems mad as it was £18, and the Fire was only £30.

CarrotVan · 30/11/2016 12:05

dancemom I think the Amazon Fire would be fine if that's all you use it for but it's a godawful interface for anything else.

doyouwantamedalorsomething · 30/11/2016 12:22

Clinique have an eye set on sale for £10 and you get five free little treats with it and free delivery. Looks more expensive than it is.

LBOCS2 · 30/11/2016 12:26

Thank you Mary :)

insan1tyscartching · 30/11/2016 12:49

Have ordered dd the Clinique eye set Flowers good price even without the free treats that will go in her stocking.

insan1tyscartching · 30/11/2016 12:56

50% off photo blankets and cushions at Truprint with code COSYWINTER16

AmyMumsnet · 30/11/2016 12:58

Glad the NES's are starting to appear, will keep my fingers crossed for the rest of you!

Waterstones have 50% off on a lot of their books ending today. Was eyeing up Born to Run for my DDad (probably need to get a less obvious NN to discuss gift ideas on here!).

We've also managed to secure a couple of nice offers for you:
50% off a Christmas bouquet from Blossoming Gifts with code BLMUM50. We had a similar offer for Mother's Day and lots of people were really pleased with the quality of the bouquet.

10% off children’s personalised Christmas and birthday books from Egmont including Thomas & Friends, the Mr Men, Fireman Sam, Mr Tumble and the Teletubbies with code mum10

ASpiderInTheManger · 30/11/2016 13:02

Random question, but has anyone ever bought their postman a Christmas present? He has delivered loads of parcels for me and is always so chirpy and friendly. Don't know if it'd be weird though?

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 30/11/2016 13:05

ASpider I got him a big box of chocolate biscuits last year and plan on doing the same this year! I remember my mum doing it when we were wee and he's more of an old school postie!

BrollyXmas · 30/11/2016 13:07

LB - i think the 20% off code has finished at naked marshmallow. I'm still waiting to place my order as they have run out of vanilla bean flavour, so it might be worth asking about that and seeing if you can get the discount still.

WeedlesHatOfDisappointment · 30/11/2016 13:13

In a very big panic, I haven't bought half my presents yet, and haven't got a clue what to get people. I'm always done by now

Anyhoo, if anyone is after some cheap smellies, Asda has some nice bits, starting at £1. 4 year old ds just chose all the grandmas/aunties and cousins presents with some nice chocolate slabs.
