livinginhope87 thanks for that just ordered some bits my dd was after with the h and m code Flowers

BeaLola · 11/11/2016 11:49

Giraffe - who did you use on eBay ? I haven't ever bought anything from there (haven't got face book either - I know I'm an old fuddled duddy mummy !)

Would a 9 year old boy like the watch ? I'm not that up with HP buT we have bought trip to studio as Xmas present for DS? Scarf sounds fab too. Thanks to these threads I have discovered Primark but my local one had no HP stuff.

Thanks

BeaLola · 11/11/2016 11:50

Boden have 25% off

sherbertdibdab · 11/11/2016 11:50

Ha ha had a suspicion the mulled fanny might make it into the thread title!

verytiredmummy1 · 11/11/2016 11:54

These threads are amazing. Although yesterday I saw someone look over my shoulder when I was in the waiting room at doctors and think she saw the S&M calendar thread title ha ha. She looked at me strangely... :)

confuugled1 · 11/11/2016 11:55

Not sure if it is good or bad news - apparently Amazon are going to have 12 days of black friday deals this year rather than the 5 they had last year...

Which is great on the one hand - more deals. But on the other hand that's an extra week of having to be ready and wondering wheyher2to buy now or hang back in the hope of a good deal but risk missing it altogether...

GiraffeAHolic · 11/11/2016 11:56

BeaLola just checked and my snitch was actually from Amazon, seller was called Qsewid.

The scarf must have been eBay as I can't find it on my Amazon orders (although I have various different accounts Blush)

The wristwatch is smart looking and came in various strap colours, I went for grey so she can get away with it at school. That was from the miniinthebox website.

Badders123 · 11/11/2016 12:00

Amazon have 10 galaxy advent calendars for £9.99
Also large lindor ball for £9 (£6 off)

Badders123 · 11/11/2016 12:01

Does anyone know if you can get an extra controller for the new nes mini classic?
I've pre ordered one but it only comes with one controller

ReluctantCamper · 11/11/2016 12:09

itsnice, regarding the bloom and wild subscription, you can buy 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions. You get to choose the first bouquet, but after that the company choose. You choose the delivery date for the first one, and then they get the next ones on the date the following months.

The only thing I would say is that the first lot of flowers didn't have any indication that it was part of a subscription, but I saw my mum on her birthday anyway, so just explained it.

ReluctantCamper · 11/11/2016 12:12

I've just come back from sainsburys feeling very pleased with myself. They have bottles of dows port reduced from £10 to £6.75, and then a further 25% off for buying 6, so I got 6 bottles of port for £30 and some change. That's all my aunts and uncles sorted.

Right, must stop thinking about bargains and find something to give the toddler for lunch.

MooseyMoo · 11/11/2016 12:14

Food bargain today ... Jamaican Ginger cake for 75p. We're hosting Christmas dinner for the first time this year and I want to try and make Nigella's ginger stuffing Xmas Smile

MooseyMoo · 11/11/2016 12:15

Sorry, forgot to add that I bought it in Co-op

AmyMumsnet · 11/11/2016 12:19

yumyumpoppycat · 11/11/2016 12:25

confugled agree on 12 days of black friday - usually the first day is good then all a bit meh, same stuff repeated but i feel compelled to check obssessively just incase I miss THE bargain.

Purplefrogshoes · 11/11/2016 12:28

I've been lurking Grin thanks for all the bargains. Does anyone know where to get the Nes mini console that came out today? I had one reserved but they didn't have it Sad

Badders123 · 11/11/2016 12:33

Purple
I pre ordered one at my local game store
They said they are getting further stock on 22/11
Thank you Amy. I feel very rough indeed Sad

ASpiderInTheBath · 11/11/2016 12:37

Thank you for another rear thread reastie (and all you other bargain hunters) 💐

Just wondering if anyone's seen any bargain hampers around? I'm thinking I'm probably going to end up making my own actually because I've been looking and looking but haven't seen anything as bargainous as the one I had last year which was something like £50 reduced from £100 and was lovely (bhs).
So, any ideas where I can get a nice (but cheap!) hamper basket and some nice (but cheap!) food and drink to go inside? Smile

BedBugsAhh · 11/11/2016 12:38

That's supposed to say great thread, not rear 🙄

ElizaSchuyler · 11/11/2016 12:44

TheOnlyPink · 11/11/2016 12:44

Badders, you can get an extra controller, but they are out of stock everywhere! I preordered the nes back in August, but didn't realise dh wanted the extra controller too, and now can't get one anywhere! Good luck!

pantherfootballforever · 11/11/2016 12:47

Purple I'm also on the lookout for the NES mini classic - I DIDN'T pre-order because I couldn't decide whether it would be any good or not but I can't think of a single other thing to buy DH so if I can get my hands on one then he's getting it even if it turns out to be crap!

Smyths are expecting more in on 21st Nov I think and possibly Game too. Nintendo site says Dec for next batch. I have a ton of tabs open on my phone and am planning on reframing several times a day between now and then and also popping into the shops as often as I can once DD is back to school and no longer keeping me housebound in the hope of getting one. I can see myself staking out Smyths on the 21st until they appear!

purpleladybird · 11/11/2016 12:54

Looking for a gift for a 23 year old male I know little about. He's due to move in with his girlfriend in the new year, so perhaps something for a first home?
