Reluctant thanks for the Bloom&Wild info, I keep seeing their ads and think they look lovely. How does the subscription work, is it a bouquet each month?

luckiestgirl · 11/11/2016 10:36

Charles Trywhitt codes I won't use.

(Nice shirts etc)

Grrr how annoying when you order something on thursday at 10% discount and a 20% discount code comes out on Friday :)

I'm waiting for best offer for photo calendars - photobox are currently offering up to 70% off if you buy now, redeem in 1 month - which brings me to £8 per calendar - but last year i got them from photobox at £7 each and the year before Jessops at £6. Will test my nerve a little longer i think!

Badders123 · 11/11/2016 10:42

I keep thinking I should rise from my sick bed and go shopping Confused

SymphonyofShadows · 11/11/2016 10:43

I've moved on to stalking cheap crackers and other bits in M&S when they slash their prices. I am hoping the MSE Christmas Deals Predictor comes online soon as it's usually very accurate.

Went into M&S for some food bits this morning and they are still pushing the Beauty Advent hard and had piles of them everywhere. Two of the staff standing in gangways promoting it mentioned that it Martin Lewis said what a good deal it was. I wonder if the overall spend is proving an issue?

DailyMailDontStealMyThread · 11/11/2016 10:45

Wow these threads move quickly!

pantherfootballforever · 11/11/2016 10:50

Don't do it Badders - you'll feel rubbish and shopping should be an enjoyable experience not a rubbish one!

Curl up in bed - put a Christmas movie on and eat some chocolate!

Badders123 · 11/11/2016 10:58

Thanks Pilko just what I was looking for Flowers

LBOCS2 · 11/11/2016 11:08

Bloom and wild send out their flowers flat packed in cardboard once a month - they come through your letterbox so you don't have to be in to receive them.

After my plea for a rocking horse I just popped in to ALDI on my way home from dropping and extremely grumpy child at preschool and managed to pick up the last one that they have! £27.99, and it looks lovely. Getting it home was a massive palaver with the buggy but it was worth it. Actually, on the subject, ALDI dropped their Christmas book through the door and they are doing some really lovely bits - they've got lots of copper cookware in there at the moment.

winterisnigh · 11/11/2016 11:17

I bought my hard to buy for mum a 3 month subscription of flowers from bloom and wild for her birthday, it cost £45.

I just wanted to say what a brilliant idea !! ^^

gaggiagirl · 11/11/2016 11:19

RJ the original factory shop has the lindt Santa's in for a good price, only I can't remember what it was sorry.

Must be that time of year for it but I too am stuck in the house with a poorly baby and I'm also fully cooked pregnant and there is no food in the house!!!!!! Aaarrrrgggghhh.
Can't get my Asda click and collect til 4pm.
Me and the kids had millionaire shortbread for breakfast.

LBOC I have a few bits of Aldi copper cookware and they are just gorgeous and have stayed lovely despite repeated dishwasher abuse.

TobleroneBoo · 11/11/2016 11:28

Thank you to PP who mentioned TEsco for a photo phone case. Unfortunately I needed a collage type one which I had already created on Photobox. So glad I waited a day because they have a lot of new offers on there today!

LBOCS2 · 11/11/2016 11:32

Really gaggia? I'd been put off buying any because I didn't think it was dishwasher safe, and I don't care how pretty it is, I'm not washing it up by hand... but if it'll go in the dishwasher I may have to revise my entire Christmas list!

GiraffeAHolic · 11/11/2016 11:35

Nicecupoftea I got dd this unicorn, fills most of that criteria.

GiraffeAHolic · 11/11/2016 11:38

IHeartKingThistle I got my 8 year old dd a golden snitch pocket watch for eBay, it is gorgeous and cost pennies. I also got a Gryfinndor wooly scarf and I'm waiting for a Hogwarts wristwatch from miniinthebox.

IHeartKingThistle · 11/11/2016 11:48

I have the snitch one too! Just twitched on the watch and need to decide which one to give to DS! Glad to hear it's nice. I bought a really cheap time Turner last year and that's excellent too. Smile
