I didn't count them until after I clicked the buy button! I have an artificial 6' tree, they will all go on, won't they? It won't be stupidly over-baubled?! This is my first year with the new tree and I may have got a bit carried away Blush

Blimey how much did that cost?!

Bearsinmotion · 21/10/2016 17:41

Quite a lot! To be fair, it includes 3 packs of 20 could definitely have ordered one pack less ...

Your tree will be nice and sparkly! I probably put about 100 decorations on our tree (not all baubles though). Depends how big your baubles are as to whether they all fit!

Bearsinmotion · 21/10/2016 17:44

I say baubles, some are pine cones, woodland animals, that kind of thing. If you put 100 on 114 isn't too OTT!

We have 100 on our tree. it looks good with lots going on Imo. Tree is about 6ft?

mmmmmchocolate · 21/10/2016 18:06

No, it's not OTT at all 😂 I love a really glitzy tree! You need to put baubles on the branches in the tree, nearer to the trunk anyway to create the depth.

Bearsinmotion · 21/10/2016 18:10

Hmm. DP isnm't a mega fan of glitz. Maybe I need another tree! Grin

Good idea you can never have too many christmas trees!

anyoldname76 · 21/10/2016 19:08

i dont know how many go on our 6ft tree but its a lot, as well as hundreds of fairy lights and tinsel, tbh you cant see the tree Grin

Bearsinmotion · 21/10/2016 20:15

I could always use some of them for table ornaments Grin

Yours does look lovely Gipsy!

Why thank you! Got most of mine from m&s last year, think I might go back for more Blush

Doyouthinktheysaurus · 21/10/2016 20:29

I read that as 1114 baubles! That would be too manyGrin

I have my glasses on as well

I like a very decorated tree. We must have at least 100 on each tree, plus tinsel, plus lights.....

Imissmy0ldusername · 21/10/2016 20:33

I read that as 114 babies. And I have my glasses on too. 114 baubles will be fine. As long as you don't have a cat.

mmgirish · 22/10/2016 03:19

Wow! pointless how many kids do you have??? Are they real presents???

TheFuckitBuckit · 22/10/2016 09:38

Although I've never actually counted them I reckon we must have at least 150 baubles possibly more and that's just baubles not including all the other hanging decorations we have.

I love a full looking tree and try not to leave any branch without something on it. We also have 620 lights. it doesn't look over the top. Our tree is seven foot but I don't think you can ever have too much so you should be fine.

This is my tree, it's not a brilliant photo but only one I have to hand.

ChristmasEvePJs · 22/10/2016 09:50

I am a weirdo with a decorating 'rule' for my trees. Each tree has 25 bigger decorations, 25 themed decorations and 100 baubles and 400 lights as a minimum. All trees 7ft.

Diamondsandpears · 22/10/2016 09:56

If there are a few left over you could hang them elsewhere, fireplace, wreath etc. so that they're not left out Wink

Bearsinmotion · 22/10/2016 10:54

PJs, how many trees so you have?! Tree is pre lit so we don't have to allow space for fairy lights Grin. No cat, just a toddler!

Your tree is gorgeous too Fuckit!

ChristmasEvePJs · 22/10/2016 12:03

We have three big trees and three small trees but I did say I was a weirdo Xmas Grin. One in the hallway, living room and dining room then a little one in each of the DC's bedrooms with battery lights.

butterflymum · 22/10/2016 12:08

You won't be short of Christmas themed 'ear dangles' for the party season either (what, you mean you have never considered using a festive bauble instead of earrings to add the finishing touch to an outfit?).

Bearsinmotion · 22/10/2016 12:42

Am very jealous PJs! DC are still quite little so they have one of these each, but when they are bigger they will definitely have their own!

Butterflymum, I like your thinking Grin

loving all the Christmas tree pics...anymore??

ILostItInTheEarlyNineties · 22/10/2016 12:49

You can never have too many baubles on a tree. That's a Christmas fact.
I also have a big gold shallow bowl which looks lovely with baubles piled in it.
