Festive PJs for boy and girl (and maybe parents too!)

Hi, All

I'm looking for festive PJs for the kids. I'd ideally like coordinated but maybe not exactly matching. I have a boy in size 6-7, and girl 18-24.
I would like something special for them for Xmas Eve, to wake up in and look cute in on Xmas morning.
If possible, matching/co-ordinating for us parents too! Xmas Grin
Anyone seen any yet? Links pretty please.

P.S. I have seen the stuff from Hong Kong on eBay - I was looking for alternatives. Thanks.

Watching with interest! I normally get them at primark but I'd like to get something a little nicer this year.

Vegangelist · 27/09/2016 20:57

Do you manage to get for the whole family?

Last year primark had matching minions Xmas pjs in kids, mens and women's sizes.

cowssheephens · 27/09/2016 20:58

Also watching.

Vegangelist · 27/09/2016 21:12

Thanks, madness. Not keen on character stuff, except Santa/Elves etc.

I got matching kids and then separate matching adults. :)

Christobel51 · 27/09/2016 21:20

I'm on the lookout too. Last three years I have got PJ's from Tesco, including adult ones last year. Mine and my husbands were were different from the children's and each other's but the children's were the same. The only thing I find is that it is difficult to find the same PJs in baby sizes ie 18/24 months as well as older sizes, ie age 6-7. They seem to either be for babies or for older children. This year all three of mine should just about be in age 2-3 years plus range whereas last year the baby had to make do with his sisters' cast offs!

Hatley, Black Friday sale - you can get for the whole family.

Last year we had the Beary Xmas ones.

TippiNoodlegruder · 27/09/2016 21:36

M&S do them from 1 all the way up to 12 in some styles, which is really useful. Some lovely designs at the moment! We tend to get matching ones for the children and "coordinating" ones for us.

Popsicle789 · 27/09/2016 21:57

Primark have lovely tartan bottom pjs with a lovely ribbed grandad top. In young kids and older kids.. Pretty sure they had adult pj's similar

Vegangelist · 27/09/2016 22:39

C51, yes, that's exactly what I am finding - tough age gap for matching/coordinating.
Thanks for the M&S suggestion. Most sold out in the required sizes though, plus wasn't quite hitting the spot, but close! Or it's a multipack. Who needs multipacks of xmas PJs?!
I got Hatley for the eldest one year, but in general I am not a huge fan of their designs. Thank you for the suggestion though.
Will check Primark, thanks.

I see Next have some Xmas stuff in, but it doesn't look as extensive as usual - does anyone know if we can expect more from them this season?

I'm waiting to see what Hatley does, they had lovely ones last year with a snowflake/alpine type pattern or bears if I remember correctly!

Vegangelist · 27/09/2016 23:41

We had the Hatley papercut ones. Best design they did, wish they'd repeat it.

Are [[https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/465823686/embroided-holiday-stripe-matching-family?ref=market these ones]] on Etsy any good?

They have other designs if you scroll down and you can get matching pj's for you dog / cat if you have one.

Vegangelist · 28/09/2016 11:41

Thanks, Fish, had seen those, not loving the look of them, but thank you for trying. I'm looking on Etsy already, soooo many to trawl through!

Tempted by www.etsy.com/uk/listing/465822648/preorder-christmas-leggings-toddler?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=handmade&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=christmas&ref=sr_gallery_72 as leggings/PJ bottoms with a plain top, but it's not 100% what I'm after. Come on shops!!!

I lost my mind last year and bought some Disney ones! They weren't really obvious, they were red tartan, button up pjs for DD and I got a set with red tartan bottoms and a plain red top. There would have been ones for DH too but he wouldn't co-operate!

SweetPeaPods · 28/09/2016 19:08

We also got tesco ones last year

Hobbes8 · 28/09/2016 22:05

Last year I had visions of some tasteful Christmas pjs for the whole family. Perhaps a fairisle print or a subtle polar bear or two. We would play a nice game and perhaps watch a naice Christmas film on Christmas Eve with a hot chocolate. I visited Primark and ended up clad in Christmas minions pyjamas eating minions haribo whilst watching the minions movie. It seems my children don't share my white company catalogue idyll.

Homebargains do some. Sorry I don't know how to do a link.

Juanbablo · 30/09/2016 12:01

Mothercare had some lovely blue printed ones but they aren't showing on the website. I wanted them for my 3 but they don't go big enough for ds1, or at least they didn't in the store.

ispymincepie · 30/09/2016 12:09

I love John Lewis for festive pjs
