Hmmm no I didn't realise that! I think calling it a digi cam may have misled me somewhat.... But that's what you get when you don't read the description Blush. Do they even make camera films anymore? Oh dear.

Bizzledizzle · 13/12/2015 23:03

Just had an email from sports direct for free delivery!!

kavvYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 13/12/2015 23:06

Thanks for the bauble suggestions. I've not managed to track one down yet but will keep looking.

woodwaj · 13/12/2015 23:08

ohholyfuck thanks just ordered a hulk for £2! How random

WindTheFrog · 13/12/2015 23:10

reastie that is perfect thank you! I love how easy you all make it!

zipzap · 14/12/2015 00:16

Admiral Not as beautiful but if you could design the quote into a picture that you saved on your computer, you could then get it printed as a picture keyring. I like the simple plastic ones that Tescophoto do - or at least they did - just checked now and these seem to be the only ones that they do...

www.tescophoto.com/Gifts/PhotoKeyRings/Square-plastic-key-ring

Cutting it fine for delivery - but this is more what I was thinking of:
photo.jessops.com/gifts/for-the-home/rectangular-key-ring/

and I've just spotted that they do fancier ones too...
photo.jessops.com/gifts/school-and-office/crystal-keyring/

Asda also do them - www.asda-photo.co.uk/product-info/161-birthday/213-keyring-double-sided-rectangular

Both of these might be able to do them faster if you can get to a shop in person...

Has anyone seen anywhere selling a big Kinder soft toy with bag of kinder chocolates? It's this sort of thing but I'm sure I only paid a fiver for it max last year - Amazon want £10 and that's going against all my bargain hunting instincts Xmas Grin

DS2 had one on the top of his stocking last year and it's one of the few things he's asked for (and is definite that santa will bring given how good it was last year!). Last year I got it from WH Smiths... But they're not doing it this year. Argghh..

If anybody has spotted them and can point me in the right direction, I'd be very grateful!

TobleroneBoo · 14/12/2015 00:27

Thanks for the sports direct heads up! ThanksThanks

RoastieToastieReastie · 14/12/2015 06:04

Oreo I'm pretty certain I've seen camera films in the pound shop before.

Wind glad to help :)

IHopeYouStepOnALegoPiece · 14/12/2015 06:42

ZipZap tesco have them-think they were around £6

G1veMeStrength · 14/12/2015 07:58

DH ordered something from sports direct yesterday without checking quidco and paid £4.99 for delivery- I feel very disgruntled!

This weekend we gave a few presents out and some were in bags from Poundland - they were SO well received that I'm off to buy some more today. They are just hessian-effect and say 'don't open until December 25' - but look so nice under a tree. Will now make sure all the inlaws presents are in these bags too!

AttitcusFinchIsMyFather · 14/12/2015 08:03

Thanks for the heads up on the free delivery at Sports Direct! I don't have one locally, so just made a last minute order - thanks!

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 14/12/2015 08:34

Just ordered a Hulk figure too (baaa!)
On Googling it seems it's not released until 20th February (on the American version of that site, and it's supposed to be around $9)

ColeslawSandwich · 14/12/2015 08:47

that hulk link won't work for me Xmas Sad

woodwaj · 14/12/2015 08:52

Coleslaw the only problems I had was that I couldn't check out as a guest. I'm hoping worst case is it fails and I get my p+p back rather than take the full amount. Although we have a collection of them so it wouldn't be a bad thing if we had to pay in full

Mama1980 · 14/12/2015 09:14

Aargh I need Christmas crackers we all thought the other was buying them, I need about 30 any bargains been spotted? Thanks :)

NoManJan · 14/12/2015 09:42

I'm going to do a gamer survival pack for my brother (14), any ideas what I can put in?

y0rkier0se · 14/12/2015 10:25

Zipzap they have the kinder things in Debenhams but can't remember how much they are, sorry!

y0rkier0se · 14/12/2015 10:26

NoMan, for 14 year old what about a onesie or one of those blankets with sleeves, sweets/chocolate, energy drink maybe?, a new game or Microsoft points if it's Xbox, not sure of the PlayStation equivalent

zipzap · 14/12/2015 10:33

Ooh thanks ihope and yorkie - those are two places I do have locally but are at 'the other end' of town / the shopping centre from where I normally go so I dont get to them on a regular basis. Will go and investigate...

NoManJan · 14/12/2015 10:42

Oh yorkie those are great ideas, thanks!

woodwaj · 14/12/2015 11:02

nomanjan sweets, energy drinks, a gaming magazine..?

My hulk pop order was cancelled

NoManJan · 14/12/2015 12:17

The magazine is a great suggestion, thanks.

I've one last person to buy for...an 11 year old boy. Budget around £10, preferably something fun and from amazon as I have a basket full.

Anyone know where selection boxes are the cheapest?

FabFlo · 14/12/2015 12:30

My age 6 Ladroute clothes fit my 3 year old.

So that probably means the stuff I've ordered for my 8 yr old DD3 will fit my 6 yr old DD2 - if it ever turns up.

So my 3yo will wear the baseball jacket meant for the 6yo and the 6yo will wear the baseball jacket meant for the 8yo.

So now I need to find a baseball jacket for the 8yo if has seen them about?

N.B I don't normally dress them the same, I ordered dd1 and dd2 different coloured baseball jackets - but now dd3 and dd2 have baseball jackets because of the stupid sizing, and that will annoy dd1.

Is anyone still with me? Grin
