Does anyone know how true the estimated delivery times are for Achica? Found the perfect present for my sis but it has delivery as 31 Dec to 5 Jan. Am I fooling myself to hope it might come early?

I don't know if anyone's mentioned but Argos have this year's stock of Advent calendars on sale for half off. Including Lego and playmobil. Also a Frozen make up one for £5

In my experience, and I do buy a fair bit from them, Achica tend not to deliver early and it's not uncommon for them not to be able to fulfill the order.

I've always had very positive experiences with achica but last year I did place an order for something which their website sold as delivered in time fr Christmas. It arrived two months afte Christmas and didn't even tell me it would be late, I had to contact them as to its whereabouts. It's a good site I'd you don't have an important deadline. I probably wouldn't personally do it in your situ though killash.

Tesco direct have some good deals, Classic etch a sketch is £7.45. Christmas Hama beads is £7.50 and mega marble mountain is £8.00. So pleased with all 3.

My La redoute saga continues, a package was left on my doorstep today and an hour later another one turned up, the items in the first one were the ones they said were out of stock and cancelled and the second one was the same items again!
They are all going back bar one tshirt as the quality of the own brand stuff is crap and the superdry hoodies look like fakes. No idea how the refunds are going to work as the money they have taken out of my account makes no sense and does not match any of my orders. Sorry rant over

Do Sports Direct ever do discount codes? Dd has announced this evening she's asking Father Christmas for Heelys. Sports Diect seems to be the cheapest (£29.99) but £4.99 to deliver to store is a bit steep. Any ideas?

littlesaint I am a bit confused with my La Redoute order as well.

I got my confirmation email. Another email to say items dispatched but only 2 of 4. Next day the other 2 items dispatched. The first 2 items arrived today with a note in to say the other 2 are delayed and they other items were pending from my bank but now aren't. Very odd.

lazzaroo there was stock of pie face in my local sainsburys earlier today have you got a sainsburys near you? Perhaps you could call to check if they have any. Xxx

Beadyboo - I've bought the Sports Direct Heelys for the dc. They're the cheapest prices I've seen so I've been searching for a couple of weeks now for any offers/vouchers/codes but have found none at all. Not even expired ones which would indicate that they at least do do offers!

I've come to the conclusion that they just don't do any so have given up and paid the postage tonight.

I cracked and went for Amazon in the end. By the time I'd factored in the delivery etc there was only £6 difference in price.
Sports direct are doing a free £5 voucher to spend in store if you do click and collect so may be useful for a stocking filler or two

My La Redoute stuff came today, all complete and pretty pleased with it for what I paid! The nightwear is big in comparison to the clothes though.

Got my hopes up with the half price lego advent calendars in argos, alas out of stock near me. Bah

Yup same here dingbats - no Lego advent calendars in stock for me or anywhere round the country that I have family near. Makes me wonder if there are any still out there??
