What was in your Advent calendar??

My 5 year old was up at 5.30 to discover a small blonde girl in her Playmobil Advent calendar.

I have more civilised Yankee candle opening scheduled for this evening.

We are having pictures only this year apart from ds3 who has playmobil (reindeer)(I think)

Up until al hours painting ds2's. He did the inside pictures. They are all Lego people.

Mine is in boxes and i did have to have an actual look for N°1 - perhaps it was a different calendar (they did 2 or 3 moedls this year i think)? or i got the wrong one?!!

Dp left me a lego advent calendar I wouldn't have rushed out to buy a chocolate one yesterday if I'd known. I've got nearly 2 year old dd a gruffalo chocolate one and either a wow toys or playmobil 123 (both Amazon bargains, will save one for next year). I wasnt going to get her a chocolate one but it was buy one get one free and I thought she'd be jealous of mine We'll open them after dinner so dp can see her excitement.

There was a robin behind the 1 on my Matthew Rice Advent Calendar, and dgd got a tiny chocolate coin in hers, she ate half, I ate the other half

Lovely handcream in the L'Occitane one for me. Nail glitter in dd's ciate (last years from TK Maxx).

Advent calendars are an evening thing here - don't want to be even later late for school...

I have an M&S beauty calendar that I managed to snaffle - last one in the shop. Unfortunately ds2 took so long to decide which one he wanted he nearly missed out on the lego one (and as it was I had to pay full price at Amazon stomps foot and it said there were only a few left in stock so consider him lucky to get anything). And the amazon order with the advent calendars hasn't come yet so we might be playing catchup... Plus all our christmas stuff is still in the loft and I don't think I can get it down for another couple of days...

December is not starting so well here on the advent calendar front!

Dd got a playmobil fairy, ds a playmobil 123 elf. Then a sock, puddings x2 and an angel in the picture ones from the gps.

DD got a slap bracelet in he Smiggle calendar, and very well it was received too. She spent all morning before school slapping it onto things.

Sheused mine is boxes too - the green one with the red ribbon on the front... I'm going to have to check mine when I get home now!

Benguin got a Santa sleigh in his toot toot drivers advent calendar... Nothing for me yet, but I do have a date with some candy canes and instant got chocolate after he's gone to bed tonight :)

I got an "Icicles" fragrance Yankee Candle in mine. Will be lit tonight when I get home from work.

DC got Santa shaped Jelly Babies in their refillable wooden advent calendars. But they are also welcome to sniff my candle

I am a terrible mother and haven't yet bought calendars for the DDs...hopefully MIL is buying them as usual!

Ds got a mini Jabba's sail barge in his Lego Star Wars calendar. He was very pleased.

I have treated myself to a ginvent calendar to get through this December as its promising to need the xmas spirit to get me safely through it.

Dh has been primed to look out for a reduced posh choc one going through the station today.

Dd1 got a playmobil rocking horse which she has played with all afternoon & Dd2 got the 123 elf. They're both pretty chuffed, not sure how Dd1's bookshelf will go down tomorrow!

I've got the carousel Yankee Candle calendar this year. I haven't opened it yet!

DD has the Playmobil Christmas calendar with the Santa's workshop scene. She got a toy rocking horse [santa]

DS got a sleigh in his Toot Toot one. I got hair stuff in my M&S beauty one & DH got a choc present in his Cadburys one.

For the last 3yrs I've done a home made one for DH. This year I spent the money on myself

MIL came up trumps this afternoon!
DD1 got a disembodied Santa head in her My Little Pony calendar, DD2 got a star in her Mickey Mouse one, and DH got a snowman in his Avengers one.

I made my ds' one, they take it in turns. Todays was a lego knight. Also the snowman in the fuzzy felt calendar.
My sisters made me one, I got a silk scarf from Vietnam!

Nothing for me but DS got the teeny remote control cars in his Lego one and Santa's head in his cadburys one.

I've got the Yankee advent house - how do we know what fragrance the tealights are? Because this one smells lush!
