Does anyone have any ideas if a brand that is like Jo Malone or L'Occitane but not them? I am after bath bubbles in particular. And a bargain! Thanks.

Was someone looking for the chocolate coin maker? It's down to £13.50 on Amazon.

Looking for ideas for my dads partner

She's late 40s , can't use perfumed products , doesn't drink any hot drinks

I'm at a loss as I don't know what she does like TBH and although I've asked for ideas I've not received any

WhirlwindHugs · 05/12/2015 08:00

A fresh start - scarf maybe? Scarf is my default answer this year!

afreshstartplease · 05/12/2015 08:11

Hmm I had thought of a scarf but bought her one last year!

ShebaQueen · 05/12/2015 08:11

margarita how about Philosophy? I got a gift set for my cousin from Boots I think it was. Not a fantastic bargain but it's more of a high end brand.

a fresh start, maybe a scarf?

Will be brave and email Amazon! Think it's unlikely though

Elvish · 05/12/2015 08:42

Afreshstart how about a house plant, or an orchid? Or a kitchen gadget type thing?

RJnomore1 · 05/12/2015 09:12

This looks like a good deal (might even do you fresh?)

Peck sniffs home scent worth about £115 for £20 from all boxed up. Includes candle , diffuser, handwash, hand cream, room spray. Only one scent but sounds nice. I'm tempted

VoldemortsBaubles · 05/12/2015 09:28

RJ I'd have loved that offer but it says allow up to 56 days for delivery

ChristmasFairyLights · 05/12/2015 09:34

afreshstart hour about a magazine subscription?

RJnomore1 · 05/12/2015 09:44

Oh heck does it? Sorry! Maybe an early start for next year? 😁

Eva50 · 05/12/2015 09:46

Amazon have a Frozen Elsa Doll on their "deals of the day" for £6 down from £27. I don't know if that's a real original price but still sounds like a bargain.

woodwaj · 05/12/2015 09:46

RJ I ordered from them last Christmas and delivery does take ages! I don't think I'd gamble on it. But great for next year!

I'm now tempted to order the peck smiths set for me, which isn't really twitching is it!

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 05/12/2015 10:00

Margarita how much are you looking to spend? I'd argue that you can't even compare Jo Malone with L'Occitane as they are different price points & have a difference sense of luxury with them. The next tier down again is Cowshed, Molton Brown and Philosophy with Philosophy being the cheapest of those but preferable, in my opinion, to Cowshed.
Alternatively, if you are looking at higher price points but less than Jo Malone, what about a bubble bath from a perfume range.

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 05/12/2015 10:02

I'd also say that, whilst Pecksniffs is nice, "everyone" knows you can get it in TK Maxx with about 70% off.

G1veMeStrength · 05/12/2015 10:07

I missed out on the hover balls and was hoping they'd repeat that price, if it was a mistake that means it's not going to happen. Boo.

Re smelliest, I think Rituals is a really nice brand, not sure where it fits in the hierarchy of poshness but it all smells lovely.

bluesky · 05/12/2015 10:10

Agree about Rituals, my sister got me the red one - shower gel and body cream, and they smell GORGEOUS!
