I'm looking for socks that are like gloves, with a bit for each toe for my dd, I have a pair but can't find them in kids sizes 12-3. An ebay search brought up some interesting results Confused I don't even know what to call them.

neddle · 04/12/2015 11:00

I had one of those Iggi it is a Lolo Ball I think, not 'Ball Thingy' as I called it Xmas Smile

Dandelionflower · 04/12/2015 11:41

Ahh, toe socks, thanks neddle

WhirlwindHugs · 04/12/2015 11:46

For some reason photobox have sent me 3 of the same calendar. Have checked and I definitely didn't order 3. Which would be great (it's not like they will want them back to sell!) except they are personalised for a particular relative. Don't know what I'm going to do with 3 of them!

TheImprobableGirl · 04/12/2015 11:50

iggi I think they're called 'saturn hoppers' so called because they look like Saturn Grin they probably have other names too

Anybody have any experience of wheely bugs? Am going to get dd2 (20mo) a ride on, don't know if These are too small/too heavy etc etc

Please help Xmas Grin

OhHolyFuck · 04/12/2015 11:51

ExploraDora · 04/12/2015 12:12

Googling the names, I think Kellypriest's post is spam...

DD has decided she really, really wants the Sainsburys mog for Christmas. Sigh! I don't suppose any of you who bought one have changed your mind, have you?
At the opposite end of the scale, I was in John Lewis this morning & they have so much stuff related to their Christmas ads that it is ridiculous. I bet they really stocked up thus year after selling out for the past couple of years & it just hasn't gone down well. It is a pity as this year some of the money was going to be donated to charity.
It was quite a productive trip to JL as I sorted out a couple of people who are awkward to buy for but definitely no bargains.
Trying to decide if I can be bothered to drive to the next town for bargains Baileys. Why didn't I buy it in ASDA weeks ago?

SnozzberryMincePie · 04/12/2015 12:18

improbable dd has a ladybird one, she has loved it since she was about 18 months and she still uses it at nearly 3. We have the larger one. Only problem is she has managed to peel off some of the fabric covering so now it has bald patches.

SnozzberryMincePie · 04/12/2015 12:21

Thatsnot Tesco have Bailey's Chocolate luxe on offer for £12 if that's any help? m.tesco.com/h5/groceries/r/www.tesco.com/groceries/product/details/?id=280033613

enderwoman · 04/12/2015 12:29

Medium Halo tshirt £4.99 on Game too.

Thanks for the PlayStation socks tip.

Pinkpiglet · 04/12/2015 12:29

Thanks neddle that magic set looks like a fab unusual present! One tricky recipient down!

TheImprobableGirl · 04/12/2015 12:31

Thanks snozzberry think I'm going to go for the larger one. I've seen it for £54 (ouch) at Amazon so will keep my eyes peeled for any further bargains off That

ThatsNotMyHouseItIsTooClean · 04/12/2015 12:36

Snozz that is! Thank you. It still involves a trip to the next town but I have been wanting to try that.
Improbable if you want something for indoor & outdoor use, scuttle bugs are excellent

woodwaj · 04/12/2015 12:51

Did I imagine someone looking for Gotrovo? It's a lightening deal now if so...

randomcatname · 04/12/2015 12:52

Every time I look at this thread I see something else that would be simply perfect for people who already have too many presents. TOE SOCKS. Got to do it. Xmas Smile

Loobylou3 · 04/12/2015 12:59

the balls with the rim to stand on are called loloballs

TheImprobableGirl · 04/12/2015 13:01

Thanks that's, I've looked into the scuttle bugs but unfortunately dd is not very coordinated and tends to wobble off things on a regular basis Grin the sturdiness of the wheelybug really appeals! Also I quite adore the mouse for myself Blush

YoureAllABunchOfBastards · 04/12/2015 13:26

that'snotmyhouse the Waterstones Mog is lovely - I never actually got my hands on a Sainsburys one to see the difference, but DS2 won't know.

flatmouse · 04/12/2015 13:32
