Dd2 has decided she would like the new mine craft story mode. Seems to be £24 best price - anyone seen it cheaper? Reviews are not great but if it makes her happy!

kavvYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 30/11/2015 00:17

Thanks littlereindeer and nocutts I can't believe I didn't think of camelcamelcamel. Set up an alert and if all else fails will see if someone can get it for her. Fuming as I'm sure I passed it several times at car boot sales this year.

WiiFitMama Aldi are selling posh looking coffee atm. No idea what it tastes like, I don't drink coffee, but it looked like the sort of stuff you'd put in hampers etc if that's what you're going for?

Can anyone make suggestions for the last few people on my list? I was so hoping to be done for 1st December.

Childminder and her assistant - pref not food, v small budget unfortunately.

Step-MIL - into animals, baking, crochet, but can afford to buy anything she actually wants with ease and has very particular tastes. Budget about £10-15.

I am also after a robot for DS age 4. Budget up to £20ish.

acsec · 30/11/2015 06:27

Hi all, has there been any cheap magazine subscription deals with free gifts this year? I've not been keeping on top of the thread and you bargain hunters move so fast!
Thanks.

AlbusPercival · 30/11/2015 06:35

Hoping you helpful lot can find me another amazing bargain.

DH desperately wants a playstation, but cant afford it until after xmas from his pocket money.

I have been thinking about getting him one for xmas.

I can get a refurbed PS3 in CEX for around £100, but depending on how much more it is wondering if it would make more sense to get a PS4?

Anyone seen any good deals, or know the difference between the two?

Fueledwithfairydustandgin · 30/11/2015 06:57

Not so desperate that would be so amazing thank you so much

Kefybaby · 30/11/2015 07:19

Jumperoos going for £55 on amazon right now.

ihatethecold · 30/11/2015 07:20

Valdemort
I would set the lap top up and connect it to your internet before Christmas.
I bought a cheap laptop recently that was missing the vital ability to connect to wifi.
I had to take it back and get s different one.
I assumed all laptops would be able to connect.

ItStillLooksLikeRainDear · 30/11/2015 07:23

ex what about one of the womdee scarves from Amazon for your childminder & assistant - most of them are less than £3.

Badders123 · 30/11/2015 07:28

Albus...amazon are doing a reconditioned ps4 for cyber Monday @£199
I twitched on the Disney infinity but it's going back! ds2 doesn't need it, bargainous though it may be.

missmargot · 30/11/2015 07:38

Have there been any ToysRUs codes recently? They have Black Friday deals on their site but not on what I'm looking for.

VoldemortsBaubles · 30/11/2015 07:44

ihatethecold I probably will set it up before Christmas but I can't see there being a problem. It was almost half price in John Lewis Black Friday event.

AlfieandAnnieRose · 30/11/2015 07:57

Pobspits I have a now TV box and that will work fine with your tv, you do need good internet connection though so it doesn't buffer.

YaMasYaDaWithAWigOn · 30/11/2015 08:00

RJ do you have online access for the console your DD wants Minecraft Story Mode for? We bought it for DS1's birthday recently, when my mum was looking for it the shops just had the disc with the first episode on then a code to download the other 4 when they are released (it's currently up to ep 3). In the end we decided to just buy the season pass through the Xbox.
If you can't get online through the console I doubt you'd be able to access the other episodes, although I suspect they may release a physical copy of the game with all episodes together in the future.

ChillyChillyIcebat · 30/11/2015 08:03

Albus I would bet if your DH is after a PlayStation he probably wants a PS4, PS3 is getting on a bit, the best deals over the weekend were £250 with a game or two, amazon has the white one in stock at £250

www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B018M0DKUQ?ref_=gb1h_tit_m-3_5547_f0bc5edd&smid=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE

I'm not suggesting 0% finance is right for everyone, but shop.to have 0% deals on PS4s www.shopto.net/microsite/sony_playstation_finance

XiCi · 30/11/2015 08:13

Ilove CYBER25 now working on French connection for 25% off

BaBaBaBoomBoom · 30/11/2015 08:17

I'm looking for a cheap very cheap headset microphone thing for the Xbox one if anyone sees one or a code that may be of use!
I don't even know what an acceptable starting price is for this Confused

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 30/11/2015 08:32

arsec- I've been looking for those as well! I clicked excitedly on an email from Vanity Fair for a subscription but it was just a boring 3 months for the price of 1. I was shouting "and the Elemis bath cream? Where's the Elemis bath cream?" Grin

RJnomore1 · 30/11/2015 08:32

Yamas thanks for that I will check with dh. It's for Xbox 360 and it definitely can get online but she doesn't have gold so I know there are some things she can't do, I am so uninterested in the xboxes but he will know!

Bizzledizzle · 30/11/2015 08:34

printerpix have good offers on today. I've just ordered 5 a4 Calendars for £11.99 making them £2.40 each. You buy today and get a voucher that is valid for 3 months so you don't have to make them now. I used them last year and they are really good!

RJnomore1 · 30/11/2015 08:35

Not wonderful but this gives you 12 months of vanity fair, an espa serum worth £48 and a £20 espa gift card for £19.80
