Hi Sheba he's the right size for a 3/4 guitar I think. It's not promising if they get put in a cupboard, I suspect that is inevitable by the end of January! Though I do have hopes of him being the next big thing Blush

ShebaQueen · 29/11/2015 20:17

Anyone with young kids, the Junior version of Labyrinth game on Amz lightening deals tomorrow from 5.20pm. I have been debating whether to buy the normal game after reading reviews on here but my kids are too young (3.5 and almost 6) but I didn't know there was a junior version. Currently at 14.99 (RRP 19.99)

For anyone looking for a gift for someone who travels, I just ordered this personalised luggage strap. It cost less than £6 inc delivery and there is a choice of colours.

snappydragon1 · 29/11/2015 21:15

I need to buy DD some cardigan socks as she's got skinny calves but big feet! Size 2 wellies and I can only find Hunters for £30?!? Hmm Anyone know of an alternative preferably at a bargain price?

kavvYourselfAMerryLittleXmas · 29/11/2015 21:27

DD1 wants 'Don't wake up Dad' for Christmas.

I figured it would be around seven or eight pounds, but am not finding it much cheaper than £18 which seems EXTORTIONATE for that pile of plastic crap which will get lost by Boxing Day

Can anyone ease my pain and help me find it cheaper?

Rockchick1984 · 29/11/2015 21:55

Snappy do they have to be the cardigan style or will any welly socks do?

Ja9r - Boots currently have a Joules bag filled with body stuff at half price. Think it's £22.50.

snappydragon1 · 29/11/2015 22:06

GingerFoxInAT0phat · 29/11/2015 22:38

Build a bear are having a 40% off sale.

Does anyone happen to have to have a code for them too?

LittleReindeerwithcloggson · 29/11/2015 22:44

Kavv
I bought Don't wake Dad for £13 from Amazon last weekend. Might be worth setting up a camelcamelcamel alert

SnowBodyforrrrm · 29/11/2015 22:51

Achica have some amazing bargain stocking fillers for girls that also work as lovely party gufts. I just ordered 10 gorgeous little necklaces (two packs of five) for £37.99 inc delivery, that works out at £3.70 a gift for classmates. The necklaces are going for £10+ each elsewhere and are adorable.

If you aren't already a member of achica and use my referral code, you'll get £10 off and I will too if you order.

exasperated dd got a minions chocolate factory set for her birthday from a friend which actually worked pretty well. No idea where its from but I can't imagine it was v expensive as they gave something with it too. That might be another option?

kavv dd asked for this too so I put it on her amazon wishlist and mil paid £18 odd for it along with a few other things I wasn't willing to pay full price for

fabflo yes there was a tinkerbell busy book dd has it at her nans but we bought it about 4 years ago and haven't seen it recently in any shops sorry not much help

Asked dd's what they wanted for Christmas as we are visiting santa next week. Dd1 (7) said I don't need anything. (It was her birthday last week and she was most excited about her own tub of pringles) Dd2 (3) looked at me blankly and said she didn't know!

zipzap · 29/11/2015 22:55

A good stocking filler for infant/junior school age kids are this set of different sized dice - 7 different dice, all with a different number of faces, including one that goes up to 20 and another that's based on 10, 20, 30 etc

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/310670423945 - £2.46 plus 99p postage

I Santa gave them to my dc (then 9 and 6) in their stockings and they've been well used for lots of things - games, making practising maths homework things more fun, learning about different solid shapes and so on. And they're so used to dice having 6 faces that it was a real novelty to be able to choose different ones!

Also - what are cardigan socks please? I've never heard of them before!

Pobspits · 29/11/2015 23:01

Thanks fox just ordered the luggage strap - perfect stocking filler for Dh

I've ordered a now TV box for Dh - I really hope IT works with our crappy basic TV. We have a HDMi port....

VoldemortsBaubles · 29/11/2015 23:09

My £99 laptop arrived today. It's smaller than I realised, only 11" but it is Windows 10 and what can you expect when you buy on a whim at 2am. Anyhow, ds2 is going to be made up. He's completely not expecting it.

I need to buy dd's new bf a gift now. She has only been going out with him a few weeks but he treats her lovely. I met him for the first time yesterday when DD and I went to get our nails done and he had paid for both of us. I was thinking of one of the half price aftershaves in Debenhams. Any recommendations? He is 23 by the way.

LucyTheValiant · 29/11/2015 23:23

Thank you for the luggage strap link, that's fab
