The excitement and then the disappointment...

All this bargain hunting is going to my head - I was just looking at the Black Friday deals on the John Lewis website and spotted that a Play station or somesuch had 'Free Until Dawn' on it - which sounded like too good a bargain to miss...

But no. Seems it's a game called Until Dawn that they are giving away free with the pack that you have to pay £285 for - distinctly not free at that price!

hey ho, back to trawling for bargains instead of going to bed and getting a good night's sleep

Babyliss pro secret curler, reduced from £119 (current price in Boots!) to £59.50: www.tesco.com/direct/babyliss-curl-secret-2667u-hair-styler/399-0360.prd?pageLevel=&skuId=399-0360&sc_cmp=tp4_aff_1018132

RJnomore1 · 27/11/2015 00:04

FabFlo · 27/11/2015 00:19

Snowglow Elsa is £13.99 on Amazon

FreddieBoswellsHair · 27/11/2015 00:20

The Lee Stafford Chopstick styler is only £10 on Tesco direct, just bought one for DD.

Serendipitystardust1 · 27/11/2015 00:30

RJ if you can't get on to tesco website, the curl secret is reduced to £60 on the Very website if that's any good.

Boutonneux · 27/11/2015 00:43

For anyone after a Nintendo DS, Nintendo.co.uk have some (imo) excellent offers at the moment, too many to list individually, here's the link to the offers page: store.nintendo.co.uk/nintendo-3ds-xl/consoles.list?widget_id=147454

RJnomore1 · 27/11/2015 00:45

Ooh fab thanks seren. I got on and went to check the Xbox first, the one I bought dh has had £40 off it, as it was delivered on Wednesday I've emailed to ask if they will refund. Off to very now thanks!

pterobore · 27/11/2015 00:49

Octonauts GUP E is under £9 on amazon. Lowest price it's ever been according to camelcamelcamel. We've got this GUP and it gets played with a lot

BeeMyBaby · 27/11/2015 00:51

Anthropologie have 20% off everything in store till Sunday or online (with £5 postage) till Monday...

y0rkier0se · 27/11/2015 01:15

Can't remember who was asking about the scalectrix but there's 20% off on amazon at the minute

rosieliveson1 · 27/11/2015 01:34

Thanks for the heads up on Golden Bear toys. Got the Ninky nonk delivered for DS for £34.99. Not an enormous saving but love skimming a bit of the price

VoldemortsBaubles · 27/11/2015 02:14

John Lewis have a Levono laptop reduced from £179 to £99 in their Black Friday deals [santa]

Kuriusoranj · 27/11/2015 04:06

I've been sent a refer a friend code for Lostmyname if anyone is thinking about the books. 15% off. The code has my name on it so don't want to publish, but PM me if you want it.

ThenLaterWhenItGotDark · 27/11/2015 06:10

Be careful with the Fragrance X website, I have used them before, and they ship mainly from America so you can be talking a 3 week wait at least and I had to pay customs duty when the perfume arrived. Was still bargainous, and was this summer and for me, so it didn't matter about the wait, but make sure before you order!

Re: building Playmobil (sorry can't remember user who built Santa's house!) Part of the Playmobil joy in our house has always been that Dad and any other males who happen to be around get banished into a room with the instructions while me and dd and my Mum lie on the sofa and mainline chocolate and crappy Christmas telly! [santa]

Reastie · 27/11/2015 06:18

Wow, I've got so many Black Friday spam emails in my inbox this morning.

So here we are, it's Black Friday. Now to wait for news coverage of people fighting over the last tv in offer in store.

I'm sure all you savvy bargainistas already know this, but Amazon appear to be price matching Tesco (and probably everyone else). So worth a look if what you want is sold out in Tescos like everything on my list

Also I had the Disney Infinity Star Wars starter pack for Xbox 360 still in my Amazon basket after nearly twitching the other day and it's now been reduced further to £17.50. We've already got DS Lego dimensions but at that price I'm really tempted! Someone talk me out of a twitch please!!!

cornflakes91 · 27/11/2015 06:45

Several threads ago somebody was looking for bambi pyjamas for a 5 year old, just incase they are still looking I came across these www.character.com/bambi-pyjamas-1.html

ChristmasFairyLights · 27/11/2015 06:47

Please shout if you see any bargain kinect sensors for the Xbox one. Don't really need it but if it is a bargain. . Xmas Grin

WiryElevator · 27/11/2015 06:48

Thank you ihatethecold - CostCo does indeed have the GoPro Hero + for £10 cheaper than elsewhere but I let my membership lapse so by the time I've added it on....gah! Of course no one seems to have a Black Friday deal on it. Hmm

I did, however, get a bargain on Just Dance 2016 for Wii U today, which Amazon are doing for £16.15. Xmas Smile

cornflakes91 · 27/11/2015 06:51

Ergh a few weeks ago when the Amazon kids fire tablets dropped to 79.99 I wavered over waiting until Black Friday but decided to go for it because I was buying two and didn't want to run the risk they wouldn't reduce them again, but of course they've been dropped to 69.99 Envy

AllThePrettySeahorses · 27/11/2015 06:53

The Works 10 children's books for £10 offer - they now have Shirley Hughes' Dogger book and cd, as well as a few other books by her. Absolute classic book and an amazing bargain, I thought.
