I believe Halford's have 10% off all bikes tomorrow and sports direct have (I think) £10 off every £50 you spend. Argos also have some deals.

I need a bike for ds3 and plan to get one (by hook or by crook) tomorrow. If anyone else knows of any bike deals let me know.

Not sure if this of use to anyone but Look Fantastic have 15% off. LK15. When I added to basket it said that 10% code was not valid but took 10% off anyway. It was just there already. I added 15% code and both worked. So 24.88 instead of 32 quid! Don't forget Quidco too. Sadly a pressie and not for me.

Does anyone know about Scaletrix sets?

I was thinking about getting one as a joint present for ds1 (10) and ds2 (7) as something they could do together that wasn't a computer game or squabbling...

I've seen some good bargains (allegedly!) on the micro scaletrix which I was thinking would be good as it wouldn't take up as much space but have then read that it's aimed more for younger kids as well as being smaller. Then seen other things that say it's fine for older kids too.

Any thoughts? Am I better off sticking to the full sized one (which, depending on price, might not happen this year) or would the smaller one be ok?

The dc haven't asked for it - but they both still enjoy playing with cars and like driving games on the Wii...

And as ds1 is v sporty whereas ds2 isn't, if they play outdoor/physical games, ds2 never has a chance against ds1, then gets frustrated or upset. I was thinking that something like this might allow them to do something together without too much stress for me refereeing it.

To which end if anyone sees any good deals on it - Amazon and Costco both have micro sets at about £26-28 but it would be great to beat that or get a normal set for that price!
