My Christmas Tree Looks Like Shit

and I've had enough of looking at it. Took me 2 hours to unravel all the effin lights

you mean you didn't watch Colin and Justin on This Morning? The trick is to put the lights or tinsel right into the tree, to the trunk!

Worked wonders with my tree this year. Still looks shit, but not quite as shit as last year.

How does that work??

well, I always find the tinsel looks really crappy draped round the tree, and always falls down a bit etc. Then when I watched C & J it all made sense! So I wound the tinsel far into the tree and it makes the tree look all full, but not quite as tacky. They did it with the lights as well. In fact their tree was significantly better than mine. Anyway, I think Christmas trees are supposed to be tacky and crap.
