Everyone moans about it, but I love it! Far from keeping ontop of it, and doing a little at a time, im sitting on my hands to stop me wrapping up the presents ive got so far, so I can spend a nice evening wrapping a BIG pile Am I nuts?

LadyOfThePoinsettias · 05/12/2006 22:29

i love it! i find it very theraputic.
i am quite an arty farty person though!

JackieNoHoHo · 05/12/2006 22:32

I love it too (as long as the paper's thick enough that it folds nicely). Very satisfying.

Quootiepie · 05/12/2006 22:34

JackieNoHoHo · 05/12/2006 22:39

Am with you on the good paper, DeckTheHallsWithFRAUsOfHolly (blimey - tht takes a while to write).

SherlockLGJ · 05/12/2006 22:41

QP

If it is not you I apologise, but someone with a name similar to yours started the childrens name thread. In really bad taste.

SherlockLGJ · 05/12/2006 22:42

JackieNo

Cut and paste woman, cut and paste.

Quootiepie · 05/12/2006 22:42

lol, that was someone else - ive been asked that! I wouldnt have the guts I do hope it wasnt someone subtly telling me to F off though....

OP posts:
lulumama · 05/12/2006 22:43

sherlock, i thin that was the charmingly named fuckoffipie.........not our Quootie......

LOP...my problem too !!!

SherlockLGJ · 05/12/2006 22:44

Wellllllllllllllllllll QP I have to admit I was trying to balance the person I met at the meetup and that thread. Delighted to hear it was not you.

JackieNoHoHo · 05/12/2006 22:44

SherlockLGJ - didn't realise you could cut and paste from names. D'oh

SherlockLGJ · 05/12/2006 22:45

To quote DS, jolopies.

trying2bgood · 05/12/2006 22:45

Nope pie - I also really enjoy it and see difficult shaped items as a fun challenge! Maybe we should start a club? There could be more of us around the world!!!!!

SherlockLGJ · 05/12/2006 22:46

Jolopies to QP, not to JNo for not knowing.

JackieNoHoHo · 05/12/2006 22:47

(I got that, LGJ)

Quootiepie · 05/12/2006 22:49

I like the challenge of odd shaped presents, but nothing is more satisfying than a nice square, or rectangular box that wraps up so neat

LGJ - chuffed that you found it hard to contemplate I could start that thread after meeting me very briefly

Earlybird · 05/12/2006 22:51

Where do you do your wrapping - table, bed, floor, somewhere else? I think I'd enjoy it more if I was physically more comfortable doing it.

NappiesGaloriaInExcelsis · 05/12/2006 23:14

lol. i didnt see that thread but saw foffypie posting elsewhere and had to ask if it was you QP, but with an alternate personality or summat! dont think i got (or noticed) a reply...

i too, glad its not you!

(and secretly, yes, i do like the square ones in dead plain paper but with a nice flouncy bow, snigger snigger)

Quootiepie · 05/12/2006 23:17

Just hunted it down Nappies - hard new persona?? Do you remember meeting me???
