Lego made me chuckle with her comment about sleep shopping in the last thread!

For all info see next post for links etc and let me know if a link doesn't work or a code is no longer valid or if I've missed something good Thanks

I have a one off code for £5 off at Firebox and it's quite hard to get a code for them. I won't use it if anyone wants it let me know Smile

NorbertDentressangle · 24/10/2015 09:47

itsonlysubterfuge what a nifty little tip! That is going to come in really handy. Thank you.

OhHolyFuck · 24/10/2015 09:52

Not strictly Christmas but bought some jumpers for ds1 from aliexpress

This elephant one is nice and well sized but not especially thick

This star hoody is lovely, really thick and soft, great for a fiver

And these marvel jackets are really thin but clear, bright designs, be good for summer

OhHolyFuck · 24/10/2015 09:53

woodwaj could I get that code please? I'll get that rainbow light for ds1

woodwaj · 24/10/2015 09:54

Defo I'll send it now :)

margaritasbythesea · 24/10/2015 09:59

Thanks for Laredoute code 1895. It works on converse which website says are excluded from promotions making leather one £35ish and canvas £25ish depending in style.

PjDay · 24/10/2015 10:04

Joycey, the gin has a lot to answer for! Hope they were all bargains.
I already had an account reluctant but the code worked. Wondering if it would again for dc converse margarita!

lilygirl81 · 24/10/2015 10:08

Thanks for the body shop code, I got some body butter tubs down from £14 to £3 and some other stocking fillers

SpottyTeacakes · 24/10/2015 10:14

Matalan have sent me another rewards card and voucher Confused will come in handy though.

CRtester · 24/10/2015 10:24

Reluctant re amazon.de I don't think you'll ever get the free postage advertised unless you live in Germany. I quite often buy things from them, and I think you'll always have to pay postage. However, as quite a lot of things work out cheaper, it's definitely still worth it.

lion thread twins, how exciting! Good luck and don't forget to post a little pic once they're here.

FireflyGirl · 24/10/2015 10:27

Dorothy Perkins are advertising 25% off everything and free express delivery with code SPEEDYPOST.

itsonlysubterfuge · 24/10/2015 10:33

Book People have new code for today CACKLE, end at midnight.

£4 off £30 which is 13%
£6 off £40 which is 15%
£8 off £50 which is 16%

The best voucher they normally do is 20% off. I may use the Book People website too much Blush. DD has pretty much every book set they have.

I would really like to get her some books to help her read, but I don't know which ones are best. Anyone have any recommendations? Songbirds, Biff and Kipper, Ladybird, Floppy Phonics... I'm a little overwhelmed.

margaritasbythesea · 24/10/2015 10:37

The songbirds are good for the earliest readers. I recommend them though I don't have any others. biff and kipper they iften use at school so may get dull.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 24/10/2015 10:41

Thank you littkemissgreen that's exactly what I wanted to hear. I have an old school keyboard kindle which I find so much better than iPad for reading in bed. He reads later than me though so I want one with a light so he doesn't keep the lamp on!

Thank you so much to the Mumsnetter who has sent me a code. So kind of you.

SpaghettiMeatballs · 24/10/2015 10:43

I have an ELC birthday club code that I'm not going to use if anyone would like it?

LibidinousSwine · 24/10/2015 10:45

Just a quick heads up for anyone considering ordering the home brew kits from Brewly. I ordered one for DH and it arrived today. Lovely kit and he will have great fun tinkering around with it but it's not boxed Hmm
It's actually wrapped in thick brown paper, sellotaped and tied with string. Once I'd ripped it open, assuming there would be a box inside, it was too late. Not a big issue as it's easy enough to wrap up again but it just doesn't look as "presenty" as if it was boxed IYKWIM?

SpaghettiMeatballs · 24/10/2015 11:02

ELC code gone Smile

AdmiralCLingus · 24/10/2015 11:02

Not Christmas related but if anyone had o2 priority they're giving a free pack of Halloween chuppachups the whsmiths. Picked some up this morning and there's 10 in a bag.

Ipsumlorem · 24/10/2015 11:08

Hi! I'm a long time lurker on these threads and love all the bargain hunting (though I don't usually post on them myself). I have a prime account with Amazon and just ordered a copy of Hotel Transylvania on dvd to watch with Dd for halloween. Just a heads up to others with a prime account - the dvd was £3 but Amazon are offering £3 promotional credit to your Amazon video account (to buy or rent a movie/tv episodes) with the dvd purchase. We rent a lot of movies so effectively the dvd is free. There are a few more dvds for £3 (cloudy with a chance of meatballs/the nightmare before xmas etc...) Smile

Ipsumlorem · 24/10/2015 11:10

Oh and should have said - think that offer ends tomorrow....

TheOnlyPink · 24/10/2015 11:25

Not sure if this has been posted already, but the ELC wooden garage is down to £24. Had looked at it a few times, ds 2 has asked for a garage, but this was too expensive. So really pleased with that price!

Iggi999 · 24/10/2015 11:27

Sports direct has a sale on Disney clothing/slippers - frozen stuff, cars etc. Their reductions are always good, but there is a postage charge.

cookiefiend · 24/10/2015 11:28

Thanks for the la reroute code- I got trainers for DH, but am kicking myself as I forgot Quidco at 7%. Grr! I also forgot my 8% QUIDCO for flaviar and the extra 10% off code posted by someone up thread. I cannot remember who's code I used, but it was whoever posted the additional 10% off code and Quidco reminder so thanks and enjoy! I got a nice bottle of gin for 9.99 delivered.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 24/10/2015 11:29

I buy the Kodak batteries from poundland you get 10 aa or aaa in a pack, 2 D, 4 C and 2 square, we buy a set of each for home and then whatever for presents as we always get present without batteries but I don't give without that's just wrong

woodwaj · 24/10/2015 11:34
