Lego made me chuckle with her comment about sleep shopping in the last thread!

For all info see next post for links etc and let me know if a link doesn't work or a code is no longer valid or if I've missed something good Thanks

Does anyone know if Sainsburys have the little live pets mouse house thing?! Want it for DN bday next week. It's £20 in amazon and in the entertainer. Hoping for a bargain.

jumpinghoops · 21/10/2015 17:50

Timeforcake, thank you- good tip. Will keep my eyes peeled on here. We certainly don't need packaging (was thinking of the waste as we disposed of the take and play box today).

imip · 21/10/2015 17:50

Thanks for the monster high sainsburys tip timon I have 4 dds who live and breathe monster high - grim, I know! I will brave it tomorrow.

Finnellajoe · 21/10/2015 17:57

Did anyone spot any mine craft bargains in Sainsburys?

FlopIsMyParentingGuru · 21/10/2015 17:58

There were some mine craft lego sets in my sainsbury's but I didn't check if they were cheaper than amazon

mrshansolo · 21/10/2015 18:08

Thanks for all the great deals so far. Delurking to share Thorntons deal. Lots of stock reduced eg. Chocoholic hamper reduced from £ 80 to £35 and 30 little bags reduced to £25. Code AFT10 gets an extra 10% off.

SideOrderofChips · 21/10/2015 18:12

Mrshansolo Better code is the one i posted on the previous page if you are spending over £25 x

Bellejournee · 21/10/2015 18:29

If anyone is after an early learning code, I've got a 'extra 10% off toy promotion' one, which runs out in the next two days!

Mama1980 · 21/10/2015 18:50

My local sainsburys had masses of reduced stuff today, whoever asked yes the minecraft Lego was 25% off making it cheaper than Amazon.
Star Wars and scooby doo Lego all had 25% reductions worth having.
Dinosaur sets there were large explorer ones less than £10 (can't remember the brand sorry) as were the 30 cm avengers figures, my sons love these.

Mama1980 · 21/10/2015 18:52

Yes the recording studio was reduced In my sainsburys and other ,who friends stuff, some kind of ice creams thing if I remember rightly

PurpleGuppy · 21/10/2015 19:03

Anyone wondering about Sainsburys discounts, they have all the reductions on their website.
You can't buy them online but might be helpful to compare prices or see if it's worth making a trip.

imip · 21/10/2015 19:08

I tried looking at the discounts online, but not all are coming up, I always find the bloody sainsburys website confusing at times!

arthurbaby · 21/10/2015 19:09

Here's my Flaviar code for anyone wanting to take advantage of the £10 credit for joining and £10 credit for referring a friend:

imip · 21/10/2015 19:12

Just tried again and found it! Doh!

Neeko · 21/10/2015 19:14

Came on to post M&S deal but someone beat me to it.

I too went to sainsburys. Got two live pet butterflies that I was after anyway and some little stocking fillers. Managed to spend £50!

pjday I'm at a secondary 20 mins drive away. Easily commutable but not bumping into them every time I leave the house. Are you secondary too?

PurpleGuppy · 21/10/2015 19:16

Oh good - glad you can see them now Smile

DrasticAction · 21/10/2015 19:17

neeko how much were the butterflies? were they 7 quid

Neeko · 21/10/2015 19:41

They were £9.74 so only a £3 saving but were on my list anyway.

Finnellajoe · 21/10/2015 19:46

Thanks flop and mama

glenthebattleostrich · 21/10/2015 19:49

Matalan are doing money off again from tomorrow until 3rd of November. Think the vouchers are linked to your card so worth checking emails.

It's £5 off £25, £10 off £50 and £15 off £75.

AdmiralCLingus · 21/10/2015 19:58

Also just braved a trip to sainsburys.... nothing much on the shelves but I did get dd 3 lego friends pet sets for £3 each. Not a massive saving but nice little stocking fillers.

I also randomly came away with a tiny pumpkin and a bag of witches fingers....

HUGE Lego bargain in Smyths. Popped in and saw this for 20% off, got to check out and rather than being £63 (from £79.99) it was £49.99! I think I skipped out of the store.

ReluctantCamper · 21/10/2015 20:13

My bargain time turner arrived. It's surprisingly heavy, probably got quite a lot of play value for pretend games. Has no packaging, am thinking of downloading a Harry Potter font to make a little package for it. An acceptable stocking filler for the Harry Potter mad for £1.03.

eastmidswarwicknightnanny · 21/10/2015 20:13

Sparepants do not show us more lego I shall not buy I shall not - ok if the baby wakes in the night it may get brought, web surfing while night feeding leads to some random purchases the sleep deprivation turns off the no button I am sure. :)

SparePantsAndLego · 21/10/2015 20:17

Sorry, eastmids. It's tempting isn't it? That said, I was sold at 20% off, this is too good to miss! I'm sitting on my hands and NOT looking further on the Smyths site... yet.
