What do I buy my 2yo dd when she has everything handed down from her sisters?

DD3 will be almost 2 at Christmas. I have no clue what to buy her other than clothes (which she already has more than enough of thanks to her older sisters)

Toy wise we have;

A wooden kitchen, play food and accessories.
Dolls prams and numerous dolls that cry/have long hair/can be bathed/are soft bodied. Also have clothes for said dolls.
Wooden puzzles
Ride on toys
A micro scooter suitable for a 2yo
Books
Peppa pig playset and figures
Wooden train
Big box of playdoh cutters
Sticklebricks
Wooden bricks
Huge box of Duplo
Basket of plastic animals and various figures
Musical instriments; plastic drum, xylophone, noisy plastic guitar (thanks SIL for that ), tiny piano thing.

And numerous other toys handed down that are suitable for her age such a toy telephone, bath toys (well a plastic teaset which she loves pouring) and a shape sorter etc

She doesnt need anything. I don't really want to spend money on more things she doesn't need.

But OTOH her 5yo and 8yo sister will be a bit if Father Christmas doesn't bring her anything.

And what on earth am i going to put in her stocking. I was thinking knickers because she will be pottery training after Christmas. And a new cutlery set. At least thats practical.

Any other ideas?

I'm in exactly the seam boat. Ds2 will be 19 months at Christmas and doesn't need anything.
We have similar stuff to you but less dolls, neither of them play with the dolls we do have.

A cheap tutu is a fun idea, that would make her sisters laugh. Like the idea of a little hairbrush also like the practical is what I'm aiming for. Although not enough hair to keep hair clips in yet.

She wouldnt keep the hat, scarf, gloves or fairy wings on for more than 2 seconds. And can't have bubble bath because of ezcema.

More books! Colouring book and crayons? Toothbrush.

Playmobil? Or toys typically aimed at boys, eg a workbench with tools. And normal stuff eg toothbrush but with branding that she likes.

Little live pets if she's the animal type, the mouse and tunnel set looks fun
Minnie / Mickey Mouse clubhouse toys or a favorite character toy, feels like a bit of a spend for the sake of it but she'll love it on the day
Crayola art set

Tbh at a similar age I wrapped up some of the next stage stuff that was I'm the loft waiting for Ds2 to be ready for it. Toy garage and cars for the Christmas when he was 23m.

Doesn't help with stocking fillers though.

Wooden dolls bed/highchair - Brilliant idea. She hasnt actually got a dolls cot herself (sometimes uses DD2's but its not actually hers and DD2 isnt going to hand it over) She uses the dolls highchair at playgroup and we dont have.

We do have a DRs kit but its spread throughout the dressing up box, I could buy her one that is atill together I suppose. And we dont have much dress up which is 2-3yo, most ia older. I could look at that.

I'm in exactly the same boat. And mine turns 2 in Feb so need ideas for birthday stuff too. My eldest wasn't into trains and youngest is so gone for a train track and Twirlywoos stuff, that wasn't on when the eldest was little. Stocking fillers I'm struggling, but I'm a firm believer you can never have too many books, and colours.

I like the idea of a few boys toys.My girls loved their brothers stuff.
I would get creative stuff, glue, stickers, craft paper, tissue paper, things that get used up.
Toy cars ... kids love those and cheap.

A large cardboard box containing a helium balloon. And keep a camera ready for her priceless expression when it floats up to the ceiling .

I don't have any ideas. I have suggested more duplo or playmobil to one set of grandparents.
I've bought peepo baby book.
Maybe a new DVD if there is something good coming out.
We also don't use bubble baths due to eczema

There's the Lush ickle baby bot bath bomb that my DS has and is fine for eczema.

Play dough set, Maxi Hama bead set, crayola pens, craft supplies, stickers, bubbles, mouldable bath foam.

Trying to think of items that run out and can be replaced if she likes them.

Playmobil - We have the park and the old swimming pool. Could get more.

I think books and colouring books will help to bulk out her present and stocking fillers.Even if she does eat the crayons.

chasingsquirrels That is exactly what I did for DD2 (wrapped a lot of DD1s old.toys that were in great condition) but DD1 is 8yo now - she would lnow they were her and DD2's old toys and not bought by Father Christmas.

Some real cooking stuff (ds had some gorgeous bright silicon stuff given to him - a wooden spoon and a bowl, something like that

A really big pot of homemade play dough in fab colours

And speaking as the youngest of three - anything with HER name on like stickers, pencils, book plates.

Audio books and a CD player?. We had an elc one with microphones for singing along. A CD of cbeebies theme tunes was a hit too.

A bell or bag to go on the existing scooter.

Could you get one of those books that has her name in it so when she is older she will know it was really hers and not something passed on from her sisters. Same with any little thing with her name on it to keep longterm. Then as said stuff that runs out like playhouse.Take plenty of pictures of her with her new stuff as there is a danger with a child down the line that they will be asking what was really theirs.

Same here too! I'm thinking : playdoh, pants/socks with her fave character on, play shoes, selection box or chocolate coins/Santa etc. Little jewelry/slide/bobbles I think as long as they've got things to u wrap they're not bothered about what's inside! Good idea about pp's to wrap up next stage stuff you've saved, and if you feel a bit guilty like you should be spending equilvilent on them all - put the money in her bank instead .

I like the idea of crafty consumables and her sisters can use the glue etc with her. They love craft.

Cooking stuff is a fab idea. Can bulk up my own collection slyly

We do have some boys toys; a garage and a road mat with cars.

We are in almost the same situation, DS is DC3 and his older sisters have everything. Stockings we always have a new toothbrush, pants, socks/tights, stickers, apple, satsuma, chocolate coins, chocolate santa, some other sweet, writing paper (for the older kids for their thankyou letters), felt tips (because they run out so blooming quickly), bubble bath/soap/eczema friendly moisturiser, art supplies, small toys like cars or plastic animals, small Brio train set pieces, CD of kids music, DVD, playmobil (123 for a 2 year old), lego character.

A swimsuit would fit in a stocking, or pyjamas if she needs either of those. What about arm bands? If she's got a microscooter then what about some accessories to jazz it up? Same if she has a balance bike/trike. Fluorescent stickers for a bike/scooter helmet?

Stocking fillers - little pot of playdoh, mittens, hat, purse (my dd had one at two that I would give her a coin to put in and she would choose something to pay for at the shop) wellie socks, tangle teezer hairbrush, bubbles (for blowing, not bath!)
Presents - travel aquadoodle - comes in a folder with a hook for the pen and is brilliant for restaurants/cars/days out.

Ooh balance bike. We've never used balance bikes.

That would be a good main present.

Do they really make bike riding easier? Is there a certain one that you would recommend?
