Glad people found my links!

I want to go to Ikea too- is the wrapping stuff pretty this year? Oooo! Have they got nice tablecloths?

Thanks canto, Dotcom only have one that isn't wipeable, and I have that one!

I might look on NOTHS but it's so big it's like pinterest and I won't come up for air until teatime, and then the DCs will have to have chips for tea!

this has some good teenage clearance stocking stuff

Thanks girl I have read that elsewhere so that's really helpful to hear direct, I was leaning towards the 3 wheeler so that's decided me. Now to find it cheaper- will Argos have another 3 for 2 do you think?

BathshebaDarkstone · 12/10/2015 13:59

Thanks Reastie

Paleontologist I tweeted British Gas on Saturday night and have only just had a response this morning so it seems to take a while! Did you use the #NoPlaceLikeHome hashtag when you tweeted them?

(BTW thanks to whoever first posted about this)

IAmAPaleontologist · 12/10/2015 14:01

No I didn't use the hashtag. I am a twitter newbie! I did it Sat morning.

YoureMyWifeNowDave · 12/10/2015 14:06

I would maybe tweet again with the hashtag then and see if that gets a response

Has anyone dabbled with the Disney Animators on AliExpress? Be good to hear of any quality sellers.

WoahBodyforrrrm · 12/10/2015 14:16

My living social phot blanket arrived. I'm pleased with it as an add on gift. It's quite thin though and I went for the larger size but it's still not very big.

Who ever posted the original link for it, thank you and did you ever get your three referrals (I was one Xmas Grin )

ChocolateWombat · 12/10/2015 14:46

Marking place.
And if anyone knows the code for free delivery for Book People, would appreciate it. Thanks!

margaritasbythesea · 12/10/2015 14:48

I have just seen in Poundland

  • Mr Maker tins of paints
  • Sofia the First jewellery box.
  • lots of Horrid Henry books.
  • Large size Mr Men books
Thanks Reastie.

How do I get them to send me my Tesco clubcard vouchers? I have never had them before and can't see where to request them. I have a 1000+ points so I should have some coming to me shouldn't I? [clueless emoticon]

SoupDragon · 12/10/2015 14:49

Marking place :)

SoupDragon · 12/10/2015 14:51

You should be able to see what vouchers you have by logging onto the Clubcard section of the Tesco website.

WoahBodyforrrrm · 12/10/2015 14:54

Don't forget you can get a lovely letter from the big man by going to nspcc.org.uk/santa and making a donation.

They're personalised and blooming gorgeous!

zipzap · 12/10/2015 15:08

Anybody tempted by the new Amazon Fire table for £50, it might be worth looking at the review first so you know exactly what you're getting for your money...

www.expertreviews.co.uk/tablets/1404004/amazon-fire-2015-review

Verdict seems to be that it's slow and clunky, can't run many of the apps that people think of as fairly basic these days, could be OK but you'd need to know that and be OK with it, rather than expect it to be a good tablet.

ARockNRollNerd · 12/10/2015 15:14

Thanks Reastie.

Sorry if I'm repeating this, these threads are moving fast!

Internet Gift Store has 10% off with code ICLICKED and free delivery at the moment.

A lot of Yankee stuff reduced, can get large candles for £16.82.

MamaDoGood · 12/10/2015 15:29

Woahbody- could I have the link or a referral for one of the blankets please? I love them x

PipersOrange · 12/10/2015 15:42

Ahh sailing you gem for the rugby links. Might pull my ridiculous OH out of his grump about England being knocked out if he gets an England shirt. Why do they have to be white though, he's messier than DS looks lovingly at all blacks kit

cookiefiend · 12/10/2015 15:47

The code for 20% off at Anorak is WELCOMEBACK

Thanks whoever initially posted the sale and 15% code (which is what I used, but for some reason it thought i hD an uncomplete basket and sent me a code to tempt me back).

Thanks also to whoever posted about what the ladybird heard next- I have read the first book about 500 times to my two year old- she will love it.

With a new baby due mid November, I have been trying to load an advent Calander for DD. I hope to fill it with loads of things that will provide an activity as I know I will be shattered and I want her to have a lovely distraction. As I said, she is two (just turned two). So far I have the playmobil 123 sleigh, a Christmas sticker book, a felt CHristmas tree with felt bobbles I half made last year and need to finish, blank cards and merry Christmas stamps and ribbons for her hair. Does anyone else have some easy and cheap ideas for advent activities?

Thanks again for all the lovely posts, I will keep trying to post my own too.

babsmam · 12/10/2015 15:48

Place marking and I don't care

woodwaj · 12/10/2015 15:48

Margarita I think the Tesco vouchers are quarterly and are due in Nov I'm also waiting for my vouchers so I can go to sealife centre! It's hard to find free stuff to do on maternity leave!!

Fluffycloudland77 · 12/10/2015 15:57
