Shutthatdoor · 12/10/2015 12:35

Thanks reastie. Lovely and great reviewed stockings on NOTHS by dibor for £8 here. Should be receiving mine this week so can report back on quality

Please do. I'm dithering over whether to get them or not.

ihatethecold · 12/10/2015 12:40

Thanks for the new thread.
Also have running gear on offer from Thursday this week if the runner in your life needs new stuff.

Joycey29 · 12/10/2015 12:45

Anyone received their photo blankets??
Are they any good?

custardcreamdreams · 12/10/2015 12:46

I think the similarities in price in a lot of places Toblerone is because the 1TB version is the older B-chassis version, 500gb is the newer C-chassis. The newer version is meant to be more efficient and quieter but from having a quick google there, may be prone to heating up more. Sigh, the things I try to learn about for the sake of dc Grin

Thanks for the clubcard boost info, have some from earlier in the year I've held onto.

GirlWithTheYellowHat · 12/10/2015 12:51

delores we have both the scramblebug and scuttlebutt and the 3 wheeler one is better (can't mind which is which!) the 4 wheeler one goes a bit "shopping trolleyesk"

TheOddity · 12/10/2015 12:55

National trust better deal alert!! D15006 gets you three months' national trust membership free and a pair of free binoculars if you pay by annual direct debit. Just cancel direct debit as soon as the first payment is taken! It is good for just the parking if you go for a lot of walks at places like this.

wigglesrock · 12/10/2015 12:56

Just back from IKEA and can confirm its Christmaslicious - and can also confirm that I have no self control Blush

y0rkier0se · 12/10/2015 12:56

Thanks Reastie these threads have saved me a fortune Grin

bluesky · 12/10/2015 13:06

Have just spent ages on notonthehighstreet as they have 15% off until tomorrow morning 10am

LUCKYME

Loads of great ideas, especially the personalised things.

Does Lego ever do offers, or is best to wait for places like Tesco to have their vouchers deals?

Definitely heading towards Aldi on Thursday for running gear, thanks for that.

Lands' End, have their warm flannel shirts for £30 with free delivery MONDAYFD

y0rkier0se · 12/10/2015 13:10

Oddity, really wanna buy the national trust membership, should I do it by monthly direct debit or annual? Just want the three months then if they use it I'll renew it but if not I'll cancel it. Can't afford the £74.25 as it's a gift Blush

y0rkier0se · 12/10/2015 13:12

Never mind I'm being daft I know what you mean now I.e cancel it after one years payment is taken, I need to be able to pay monthly to do it Sad

TheOddity · 12/10/2015 13:13

Also if English Heritage is more your parents thing, then BSC15 gets you 20% off annual membership. You need to enter all the contact details before you get to the promo code stage

SomethingOfTheNight · 12/10/2015 13:13

Thank you Norbert, got some great stocking fillers. Smile

TheOddity · 12/10/2015 13:17

No unfortunately Yorkier both the codes for National trust are for three months free with an annual direct debit payment. If you pay monthly, you'll pay full price, and if you pay by a debit card you will pay full price, so watch out! English heritage comes to £50.40 for the year for two over 60s though, which to me seems good value. But always check the sites nearby or where you holiday before buying to make sure you will get value. Also I think you pay for parking still with English heritage.

Thanks for the heads up on the 15% NotOnTheHighStreet expiry! Going to blitz that now!

y0rkier0se · 12/10/2015 13:40

Thanks Oddity I realised after I posted where I was going wrong.

Argh! Why does everyone who tweets British Gas get a Wilbur except me? My tweets seem to be getting completely ignored. Maybe I'm doing it wrong, I have never sent a tweet before this!

Whatabout · 12/10/2015 13:52

Thanks reastie Flowers

whatsonyourplate · 12/10/2015 13:56

Thanks for the new thread Reastie and thanks to whoever posted the link to the Magpie sale - not heard of them before and they have some really lovely and quirky things. i signed up for their newsletter and they sent me a code for a free shopping bag (normally £7) when you spend £20 which sort of makes up for the £4.95 delivery cost.
